The dark gray is a perfectly gray shade that’s dark! Come on, you know you laughed. I’ve washed the comforter once so far and no pilling or snags. Great price/value! We’re using as a guest room set so it doesn’t see a ton of action. I’ve paired with flannel sheets for the winter. The feel is soft like a blend and it doesn’t wrinkle terribly like cotton tends to do. I ordered the green and it was a little more of a dull color than show, which I ended up liking more than the pictures. Very soft material and washes well. The pillow cases were a little smaller than I like, the pillows tend to stick out the end by morning.
