  • Great Little Snippers!
Item Package Quantity: 1
This is actually the second pair of the same snippers I have bought here! Not because they were broken or didn’t perform, actually the exact opposite! They work so well and are so comfortable, I had to buy a second pair for my other electronics kit! Very well built and feel very sturdy, although I haven’t had to put a lot of strain on them. They just fit the hand well, sharp enough to cut and string enough to hold the edge. One of the main issues I find with wire cutters that are meant to cut flush to a flat surface, is they never seems to get the blades aligned to where the underside that sits against the flat surface…flat. One side always seems thinner than the other, and you wind up with sloppy cuts. The first set I bought were almost perfectly crafted to be flush, and required very little adjustment. I actually wouldn’t have needed to adjust them and they would have been fine! I’m just very picky and ocd about this type of thing! lol The second set needed no adjustment at all! They were so close to being perfectly flush that you would never know, or need to know, that they were off. Because they weren’t! Anyway, great snippers and highly recommended! OH!! lol I play guitar as well, and I use clippers like these when changing strings. 9 out of 10 times, the nickel strings would cut grooves into the clippers when trimming the excess! I haven’t had problem one with these and they don’t show any signs of the strings cutting grooves into the edge. And I’ve cut around 70 strings with the first set! They’re very tough! ... show more

  • Good for the money
Item Package Quantity: 1
My DOWELL Micro Flush Cutter arrived with the very tip of one of the blades bent backward as though it was dropped hard on a floor. But it still cuts well and cuts flush (except for the last few millimeters near the bent tip). The handles give a good grip and it seems pretty well-made for a $7 snipper. ... show more

  • Not as nice as they could be.
Item Package Quantity: 3
First the short: I love this style of cutter, but mine don't properly align. Due to that defect, they miss the mark. I'd pass given a second opportunity. So, mine haven't failed catastrophically as some reviews have shown. Yet. I will say that this style cutter, and I've owned several different brands in the past, is prone to catastrophic failure of one side of the jaw or the other. I don't think any manufacturer would suggest anyone cutting with these things without safety glasses. Not blaming anyone or trying to detract from any other things mentioned, just throwing that out there. I've done severe, permanent damage to one of my eyes in the past in an unrelated way. You only get one set of eyes, use safety equipment. Even though mine have yet to fail, the jaws on mine misalign. I can cut larger diameter copper (10 to 14 maybe), but thin wires can be painful to cut. Even on the larger wires, it makes it feel like the cutters are dull. They cut nearly through, with a center portion that is off probably one to two millimeters and the wire kind of just breaks from stress fatigue. My previous pairs from other brands were better, but these have lasted longer since I don't really use them due to the issue. I bought them primarily due to cost and quantity. In this case, you get what you pay for. ... show more

  • Perfectly adiquate little snips, best for infrequent use.
Item Package Quantity: 1
The spring is very exposed and sits far out from the pivot, handle pads are okay but not super comfortable, the spread on the handle makes it difficult to easily use with one hand. They're fine if you're using them to snip out plastic figures or just as a hobbyist. But if you're really going to be doing some work spend more on something better. ... show more
