  • All 3 brands light weight but limited protection to foot. VIFUUR fits wide. Whitin stays on best.
Size: 9 Color: Allblack
I bought 3 different brands of inexpensive water shoes from Amazon. WHITIN Women's Multi-Purpose Feather Water Shoes + Thick Sole DOUSSPRT Men's Water Shoes Quick Drying Sports Aqua Shoes VIFUUR Water Sports Shoes Barefoot Quick-Dry Aqua Yoga Socks Slip-on for Men Women I wanted shoes that were very light, would stay on well in sticky mud, and would protect my soles from sharp objects. All 3 were acceptably light weight. The Vifuur was noticeably lighter than the other 2. None offer any protection to top and sides of feet. But that's ok for me. I care about soles of my feet. All the shoes offer only moderate protection to bottom of feet from sharp objects but that's good enough for me. The Whitin offered the most protection to bottom of feet. Whitin and Doussprt fit narrow. VIFUUR fit wide which I like. They were all wide enough for me and about the length that I expected based on the size I ordered. VIFUUR and Whitin seemed like they'll stay on adequately well. Whitin will stay on the best. I got the feeling that Doussprt wouldn't stay on well because of the particular shape of my foot. They all have removable liners that you can remove to make them more light weight. Doussprt cost much more than the other 2 kinds. Returned Doussprt and kept the other two since they're so inexpensive and I expect they'll wear out quick anyway. ... show more

  • Kept my feet safe while fully submerged, dried quicky. Size: I'd drop a full size.
Size: 9.5 Color: Bluewhite
First a note on sizing: I know the majority here say true to size, but I found I needed to go a full size down. I wear a 10 1/2 US. size. Ordered that, returned it for a 10. Returned that for a 9 1/2 (finally, that fit well). Now for the review: After tearing up my toes and feet several times playing basketball in a pool, I decided to get swim shoes. I've used these twice now, and both times they saved my feet the abuse. I wore these fully submerged and they worked great. Afterwards they dried quickly. I removed the inserts, as it leaves less that needs to dry, but I don't actually know if that is necessary (I did not want to chance it). I plan to also wear these to the beach later this summer and on the pool deck when working my son's swim meets this coming season. All and all, at least after week one, a good purchase that I would highly recommend. ... show more

  • One of Three Good Alternatives
Size: 11 Color: Darkgreywhite
I couldn't decide so I bought the Doussprt watershoes plus those from Nortiv 8 and from SEEKWAY. They are all good and I can recommend them all. The Doussprt are the simplest, lightest, best drainage through the sole, and will probably dry fastest. The Nortiv are the most robust, lots of attractive design elements, with thicker material, reinforced sides and padding at the heel, and a thicker sole...although fewer holes so it probably drains slower. I think it will probably be best if you are doing lots of walking around and beach sports, in addition to water sports. The SEEKWAY are kind of in between...fabric similar to Doussprt but perhaps a bit more robust, more stylish, thick soles similar to Nortiv although with their thinner side/top material these will probably dry faster than the Nortiv. I will probably go with the SEEKWAY...seem well made, material thin enough to dry fast, thick sole for walking around, and nice looking. But again, any would be fine, depending on your priorities. ... show more

  • Great shoe!
Size: 8.5 Color: Allblack
My feet sweat a lot. I bought these to help with that and cool my body. I wear them in to work and they're great. They fit well, they're comfortable and they breathe extremely well. My feet aren't hot, my feet don't stink and my socks aren't wet anymore. I'll still wear my regular waterproof shoes when it rains because I don't want wet feet, but I'll wear these shoes every day I can. Seems like they're good quality too, especially for being cheap lol ... show more

  • functional, but it had function and flair.
Size: 11 Color: White
The actual shoe looked great and didnt look like "water shoes". I had to size up from 10,5 to 11 because I have a high instep and wide foot. Worked fine actually wore them when it was raining in Myrtle Beach and was in shorts and water actually ran through the shoes and out the bottom and never accumulated or held water in the shoe. The look great and did an awesome job with the water. ... show more

  • Light weight and not super bulky...
Size: 11.5 Color: Allblack
Just what I needed for kayaking... I have big feet and wanted a very snug shoe that would not be too bulky in my kayak. I usually get 11.5 shoes and they fit easily. This 11.5 shoe fit snugly yet comfortably... just what I wanted... Liked them so much I ordered a second pair.

  • A Mixed Bag for Adventurous Feet
Size: 12 Color: Dark Allblack
These water shoes offered a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde experience during my recent crab snaring trip. While they certainly excel in some key areas, a significant design flaw prevents them from being a true five-star contender. Let's start with the positives. My primary goal was a shoe that could seamlessly transition across varied terrains—ocean, sand, rocks, and pavement—and in this regard, these shoes absolutely delivered. They handled each environment with impressive grip and comfort, allowing me to move with confidence. A standout feature I genuinely appreciated was the drainage system in the sole. The strategically placed holes allowed water to escape quickly and efficiently, preventing that sloshy, waterlogged feeling often associated with water shoes. However, those very same drainage holes are also the shoe's Achilles' heel. While fantastic for shedding water, they're equally adept at trapping small, pointy rocks. More than once, I found myself wincing as a sharp pebble worked its way through a drainage hole and into my foot, a truly uncomfortable and distracting sensation. Another important note for potential buyers: these shoes run large, by at least a full size. Be sure to adjust your order accordingly to avoid disappointment. In conclusion, these water shoes are a solid option for their versatility and excellent drainage. If you're tackling soft sand or mostly submerged activities, they'd likely be a great fit. But for adventures involving varied or rocky terrain, be prepared for the occasional sharp surprise. They get a 3 out of 5 stars for their strengths, but the rock-trapping flaw is a significant drawback. ... show more
