These were a great value when I bought them a year ago for $15-$20 however the price has nearly doubled from when I purchased them so the quality based on the current price would be terrible. I used them for floating and after about 3-4 float trips they were torn to shreds. So these would be ok for the beach or the pool but when I went floating I couldn't stop the shoes from constantly catching rocks so they became very uncomfortable and annoying after a short while. My husband loves these. He also has them in grey. I was concerned about how they'd hold up in a tropical climate but the first pair is now over a year old and they haven't fallen apart. That's pretty impressive for an inexpensive Chinese product. They're great for walking in the sea, on the beach and in the rain. They don't get used that often, but my shoes with glue fall apart from the humidity without use! I would not recommend these for anyone who needs arch support. ... show more

I needed a pair of boat shoes for the ship in the Galapagos. After I found these and trying them on I bought a second pair, different color. They are light weight and dry very fast. I now own 3 pairs. I intend on using them on the beach.

They fit good, and seem to be fairly well constructed. Bought them for a trip to the keys, but after arriving we found plenty of water shoes at much better pricing. Unfortunately we wanted to make sure to have some in case we couldn't find any.

    • Nice Looking Water Shoe, Quality is Good but Uncomfortable Long Term

The shoe is as advertised and overall I like them. A couple of things I was disappointed in the end though. River sand got through the mesh and trapped it in the shoe. So as you walk in sandy areas, the abrasive sand gets in and rubs your foot until you have to stop and clear them out. I thought getting into the water and shaking my foot around would clear them out but it's like a one-way gate. The other thing is probably to be expected but this was my first pair of water shoes and didn't think about it. After our float trip down the river we had a bit of a hike (around a mile) to get to a parking lot. The mesh rubbed the top of my toes pretty raw by the end of it. I was really excited to try to GU gels for my run tomorrow and just opened the box to find the wrong items were sent. They sent GU Stroopwafel instead of the GU gel. I have no interest the Stroopwafel and no interest in spending my time to return the item, as it is not my fault. Very disappointing.
