I needed this for a costume, and it was great. I'm 5'2" and the medium length (40-some inches long) was perfect (hit me mid calf). The cape is not super heavy, but that was good for me as it was an indoor event, so it did not make me too hot. The only downside was that they cut the one neck tie SUPER SHORT and it was very hard to even make a bow with it. The other side was fine (11.5" long vs 6" long).

I wanted to be a sexy Little Red Riding Hood, it was a perfect length, not too short nor to long to the ground. Can also be used for witch costume. Quality is great and reversible is invaluable. I will have this piece for many years. I hate spending money but so happy I made this investment.
