    • Would buy again - beware of pics vs description
As other have said, the pictures and part numbers are opposite, I bought the drivers side based off the fact that the picture matched what I wanted, not off the description. I received the drivers side (which is what I wanted) steering knuckle/spindle for a 2004 dodge ram 1500 4x4 5.7l v8 and it fit with no complaints. There was one issue, the abs line clipped into a spot on the old spindle and that location on this one was cast wrong which would not allow me to put the line back in the same spot. No worries as it seems to be just fine without it clipping in, just something to note. Other than that, both upper and lower ball joints, tie rod, hub/bearing assembly all fit perfect and no complaints here. I have a yt channel (check it out under my same username as here) where I diy my repairs and upgrades and it is difficult holding a schedule, I appreciate the on time delivery of this part. Definitely agree with others, the clarity of which side you are receiving is very confusing. Happy with the part but based of the extremely confusing description vs pictures, and the spot for mounting the abs line, I am taking one star off my review. I would still buy again if needed however. ... show more

The part name is Front Passenger side but it really is the Driver side .

    • Wrong part for a Ram 1500
When I installed this knuckle it will not allow for it to turn before it hits the lower control arm. not to mention the brakes won't fit either. It is just the incorrect part.

    • Fit and functionality
This part fits a 2008 dodge ram 1500 5.7L perfectly! I bought this because my original steering knuckle had a crack where the tie rod hooked up. Looking at the new steering knuckle it looked great. I pulled everything apart and everything went together perfectly except for one part which is like a .5% on a critical location scale. The mounting position where the abs bracket mounts was not fully machined so I need to find another way to mount my abs cable out of the way which is fine. Only bummer is I wish I would have noticed it before putting it in the truck so I could have had it machined to fit the original bracket. That is the only problem I have with this part other then that it was perfect no flaws and everything fit perfectly! ... show more
