Installed this on a 2008 VW Rabbit where it was a perfect fit. After 10 months, it still works as it should and is very quiet. You can find one for less but better to spend a few extra dollars to get a quality product when it comes to auto parts. Often times, the work involved in replacing the part is more costly than the part itself. ... show more

    • Beware of origin of manufacturing
I went through one fan assembly that was labeled made in China, and my car sounded like a rocketship on the redlights and parking lots. The car wasn't overheating but the bearings on the fan were ridiculously loud. There were also counter balance weights on the fan assemblies I noticed when I was installing. I requested a replacement be sent to me and this time, a fan assembly made in Taiwan shows up at my house. This assembly seemed to have fans that were raised and not sitting completely flush, which additionally made it hard to install as well. After the install of the the second one, car is running like OEM with no noise or any other issues. Quality assurance from the product made in China needs to be audited. ... show more

Mechanic at O'Reilly's said their was some recall on some of these. But my item I installed & thankful it's working perfectly. Even has extra fins. No problems whatsoever. Great product hopefully will hold up for years through this very humid areas in Kentucky.
