These curtains basically just stick up with an adhesive Velcro strip. Super simple and fast to install. Just clean the door/wLl surface with an alcohol pad prior to applying the Velcro strip and it works great! Love this, I have purchased a second one in a different design for the season.

1.) This is not a black out curtain. 2.) I did not find any quality issues. 3.) The item is accurately described and accurately represented in the photos. I purchased this for my back door which is about 45% windows. I like the site because it leads to my laundry room which is very bright with natural light. I wanted this curtain so that I could close it when I left the house and during the night so no one could see into my home. This curtain sufficiently blocks about 75-80% of the light which suits my needs very well. Yet there's plenty of filtered light for every day, I open the curtain on laundry days. The adhesive is very strong but I'd recommend cleaning the door with some rubbing alcohol first. And the velcro is very strong. ... show more

I like that this curtain is thick enough to block out the sun fairly decent and installing it is easier than drilling more holes in my steel door . I don't recommend putting the very sticky strip on any painted surface it would most likely take the paint off . But overall I like this type of curtain and bought a second one for my window . ... show more

This curtain fits our home decor perfectly. I have a half door size to cover the window of our door. It shades well. Only problem I have had is keeping the sticky strip secure. One corner has come free twice in a month, which isn't terrible.

I love this door window treatment. It cute, it has velcro so it doesn't make holes in the door, it covers nicely, and it goes with my windmill theme. It can also be raised up easily and held up with velcro straps.
