I do not love this journal… I was so excited to have a planner that had all this free space, but honestly, it's really hard to fit things in the small boxes, if you need to put some thing for Wednesday, it's really hard to write because it's a small box and it's right by the spiral binding. Some of it is personal preference, but also I don't like that the front of it says food journal? I didn't notice that when I bought it after opening at one or two times the cardboard cover is already starting to look curved... some of it's just personal preference, but I am probably going to have to buy a new one, and I can't return this because I've already written on it and put stickers on the cover. The bookmark doesn't really go in and out very easily, and the elastic closure has already popped out on me once, but that just slides right back in.

I know planners and have used luxury planners for many years. This a5, vertical weekly planner is perfect. High gsm paper, perfect a5 size that fits EC covers and accessories to perfection, and weekly layout has space for adding goals and habit trackers, which is what I was looking for. The doodling intent is perfect for those of us who decorate out planners because it is all black and white and the whiteness of the paper is Makse-like crisp. I hope this continues to be made year after year.

I was hoping I’d have enough space on the month view to list my recurring bills as I use this to track but it’s too small :( I like the style and concept of this planner but sadly I have been trying to us August and it’s not working for me. I’ll have to get a different planner.

I took a gamble on this planner to use for work. Tbh I didn't like the looks of the cover but decided to try it out because of the unique layout. I am pleasantly surprised by the paper quality. My first order of business was covering the cover with vinyl stickers and now it looks more my speed! The inside is the part that matters and it doesn't disappoint. I love the month overview on 1 page with a open page next to it that use for my monthly deadlines for work. Really enjoying the weekly spreads and how customizable it is! I added monthly tabs and a pen loop and it's perfection!! I hope they keep making this doodle planner. I look forward to buying it year after year!
