  • No-brainer

These are truly cool. Wireless DMX is awesome, and these are pretty simple. I truly just had to give them power and plug them into lights. I'm not certain I'd use them in hard-to-reach areas like a ceiling truss, but for areas that i can't do long cable runs, these are great!!! I've had several sets over the years in different theaters, and they've always worked well & lasted as long as I've needed them (6 months-3 years). ... show more

  • Solid wireless DMX!
Color: Black
These are BAD TO THE BONE. So easy to set up, so much less cable clutter to go wireless. We've never been close to the maximum range, so I can't comment on the working distance, but the reliability has been 100%. I power everything up, and everything works. Every time. SO HAPPY! My only wish is that the power plug were more.... protected. They just kind of stick out there. Also wish they drew power from the light cans themselves. Then they wouldn't need a little wall wart power supply at all. *Edit* It's been over a year! NOT ONE PROBLEM. I'm still amazed how well this works, and I'm not exactly super gentle with these either. I have the receivers zip-tied to the light poles, plugged in, and all the cabling zipped together, the whole light bar with lights fits into a lightweight keyboard case. They tend to sit on the floor of the trailer with mic stands and guitars tending to get packed on top of the cases. Not the best way to do it. but no problem. The transmitter rides in a small toolbox with the controller, and I plug it in when I set up. I'm more worried about this end because the set only has ONE transmitter, no backups. I use four receivers, so I have extra there. So far so good. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • Perfect!
Color: Silver
These worked flawlessly for me. Had bought a few sets, set them at 2 different frequency on 2 different universes, and had no issues. Lights were 150 feet from the transmitter. Have them on led light bars and moving heads. Would definitely buy again. Great price also!

  • Transmitter must stay plugged in to power
Color: Black
Worked very well. Battery life a little short My lights will stay lit for almost 7 hrs but these receivers only last maybe 3 hrs Just enuff for a show But you must wait to turn on right before the show Also. They are Wireless But the transmitter antenna must stay plugged in while in use.

  • Amazing!
Color: Silver
I run lighting for our group, & the set up and tear down of lights can be a nightmare when having to roll several 50' to 100' cables... not anymore! These probably cut down on a good 20-30 minutes of set up and breakdown time not having to run cables & gaff them down along walls. The first time I saw these, a buddy of mine was setting up for a big show. I didn't know he had them as he was running light towers all over the music hall. I even made a comment that I hoped he had a mile of XLR cable & a roll of gaff tape... He showed me these & I was instantly intrigued. After setup, I was shocked how there was no latency or delay at all. All the light towers responded instantly to the DMX board He sent me the Amazon link, & I instantly purchased them. ... show more

  • If you are daisy chaining the lights to one controller you only need to use one receiver
Color: Silver
Works great. Our lights hang from the ceiling, so we didn't have to run a dmx cable to it which made for a cleaner install. Only used 2 receivers to run 4 lights each. Our distance between the transmitter and the receivers is about 20 feet.

  • THESE ARE NOT BATTERY POWERED!
Color: Black
THESE ARE NOT BATTERY POWERED! Might help if you have a room with outlets every 5 feet, but otherwise they are only "wireless" only in the sense that they can talk to DMX remotely, but having to be always plugged into a power source practically undoes whatever time you save just running a DMX cable. I have battery powered uplights (as most mobile operations do) so if anything having to find a way to run power to each individual unit is MORE time consuming than simply running a dmx cable. I guess that's on me for not reading closer, and returning within the window... but this was a total waste ... show more
