This top is way more sophisticated than I expected it to be. The draping is beautifully flattering on my body, the softness is out of this world, and the pockets are both functional and add to the overall fun of wearing this top. (great for holding small items and hand warming in cold rooms). It's not a sweatshirt as we understand the term in the United States, though - not made of fleece or jersey and not thick. This is a classic knit shirt like you find at Kohls and Lane Bryant, but with nicer fabric and softness. For sizing though, I went up a size from what I wear at Kohls and Lane Bryant and really liked the look (more slouchy and less form fitting without being too big). The dark gray version is elegant enough to wear in a casual office setting (in fact, I get compliments on it). As soon as I tried it on I immediately ordered one in another color and might get a couple more, too.

I thought this was going to be more of a sweater material but its a much lighter weight and you could actually wear this in the Spring or early fall. During the cold months you have to wear at very least a long sleeve tee shirt under it or a turtle neck in my opinion. The size runs well. Being its made for Plus Size Women i always worry its going to be China sizing but this is truly US sizing. Its not tight around the neck sleeves or waist. Fits just right. There are two pockets on either side towards the bottom at your sides. More for decoration than to actually carry anything because this material is soft and anything with a bit of weight will pull it down but if it were a tissue or something like that its fine. This green color I chose is like a marbled green, very attractive. I think for the value of the material and workmanship I may have found it less on another site or something close to it but it’s not like I spent so much and am disappointed. It in my opinion just a bit on the higher side considering how thin the material is.

Being extremely generous giving 3 stars. Advertised as plus size light weight sweat shirt. It is in fact a thin, see through tee shirt, definitely not plus size. I'm 5'5", 145 pounds, skinny hips, legs and arms, big bust. I wear XL if I want don't want something baggy. I order 14-16 (1X plus size or 2X regular) if I want tops baggy. I ordered and got 16W but it fits like a large/xlarge does for all my other clothes that have been washed and machine dried multiple times. If it shrinks in wash I will return it. It is passable now to wear around the house if I don't have company because it is comfortable but too thin to be seen in public, too form fitting to wear anything under it. NOT as advertised. If I wanted a tight top I would not order a plus size. I definitely NEVER want to wear anything see through. When I hold it up to light I can see completely through it. Hard to see in picture but it stretches tightly across my bust, which is NOT something I want to draw attention to.

Lightweight, comfy, super flattering. Love Dolnine products; haven't had any bad experiences (but will let you know if I do). This has become my go-to brand for shirts and light weight clothing that fits my large dimensions comfortably and attractively. Love the two tone pink, as well as the addition of little pockets. The sizing is a true fit, with a generous cut. I think you can easily be in between sizes and still find that it drapes nicely. I am in a size 20/22, so I went with what lines up with that. LOVE this shirt!! I will buy more. :)
