The doll itself looks adorable on the listing. Great size, cute outfit comes with little glasses and accessories. The problem? That was apparent upon its arrival. This pretty little doll with bouncy blonde curls is packaged horribly. When I say "packaged," I mean stuffed into a lousy bag, so small that just looking at it, I can't even see the accessories it's supposed to come with. Are they even inside? I can't even see tell. With all the writing and colors on the bag, absolutely none of it says anything about what's included inside, other than the doll itself. I paid $30 for this doll, and it looks like something you'd see at the $5 Below store. I'm truly embarrassed to gift this in its existing package. I'd rather open it and make my own esthetically pleasing packaging before I ever gave this to someone. Fortunately the gift is for a family members daughter, and we are close, so we can laugh about how godawful the original packaging was and it won't be a big deal. But had this been a casual friend, I'd be mortified to give the doll-in-a-bag. This doll cost $30. There are dolls out there that cost $15-$20 that come in actual packaging. And we all know that packaging itself doesn't cost as much as the actual doll. So what exactly happened here? Who thought stuffing a doll with hair in crappy plastic wrap so her curls would get all flattened out was a good idea? I'll tell you who: a man. Because any woman would know that one of the main reasons little girls want dolls with hair is because they want to style said hair. That's why these dolls are packaged so carefully, in order to prevent their hair from becoming disheveled during the shipping process. Whoever in your company thought it was a good idea to stuff a doll in a bag should probably be replaced by someone who actually knows something about advertising, branding and product visuals. I hope the doll is far better quality than the packaging, but I won't find out until I decide whether to open or repackage, and after my friends little girl plays with it etc. Either way, PLEASE DITCH THE CHEAP BAG! USE ACTUAL PACKAGING! I should have just spent the extra $15/$20 for another doll. I cant imagine a doll at that price wouldn't have come in proper packaging. UPDATE: THE HAIR WAS JUST AS DISHEVELED AS I EXPECTED. IT LOOKED NOTHING LIKE THE CURLS AS PICTURED. THE WHOLE REASON I WANTED A CURLY HAIRED DOLL WAS BECAUSE MY FRIENDS 3 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER HAS SWEET LITTLE RINGLETS. FORTUNATELY, SHE STILL ENJOYED THE DOLL, BUT I DID HAVE TO BRUSH THE HAIR FIRST TO GET THE TANGLES OUT SO SHE COULD STYLE IT. WHICH NATURALLY MADE THE "CURLS" EVEN MORE FRIZZY, WHICH JUST MADE HER MOTHER AND I LAUGH EVEN MORE. BUT AT LEAST SHE WAS THEN ABLE TO BRUSH IT. WHILE WE HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR ABOUT IT, NOT EVERYONE DOES, SO I STAND BY MY ORIGINAL SUGGESTION THE COMPANY SHOULD RETHINK PROPER PACKAGING FOR BUYERS. THERE ARE MANY COMMENTS WHO AGREE THIS PACKAGING IS UNACCEPTABLE.

The doll is adorable but not what I expected. She is not soft and lacks the realism expected from a true “reborn” doll. I would have returned it except my niece fell in love with her. If you are looking for a doll that is soft and moves like a human this is not the doll. Plus I didn’t get the camera that was supposed to come with her.
