Unlike the general stable of Dolce & Gabbana fragrances, with the prominent exception of Light Blue, this scent is not redolent of sun-warmed citrus, or really, sun-warmed anything. Cool, light, and delicious, a well-behaved and enchanting juice of white flowers, green leaves and only the slightest lemony tang on application, it dries down to an on-the-skin muskiness that is never overpowering. The "package", a round-shouldered bottle capped with a marzipan-inspired flower, is enchanting as well. Filled with a bright. light emerald liquid, squiggled with a script "Dolce" and tied with a black grograin ribbon, this has to be one of the most delightful bottles ever to grace a vanity! The fragrance is truly "dolce"-sweet without being cloying. Copy states that the heartnotes contain a newly captured molecule mimicking white South African amaryllis. I have no idea, but amaryllis is an old-fashioned garden flower. And perhaps this fragrance best suits an old-fashioned girl. Downton Abbey fans, take note! And prepare to daub your wrists. A splash to the bosom couldn't hurt! Not a scent of seduction, yet not a simple soli-flore, this is a scent to enjoy applying and living in. I buy these often for gifts to my lady friends. It’s a lot cheaper than their prices at actual stores near by and the shipping is super quick! As for the fragrance/scent... if you have never tried it before then try buying the smallest size first, for just for this but for any perfume... body chemistry is different with everyone, what smells good on my lady friends night not mix well with you. By itself it is a great scent though. Very light and elegant. Just don’t shower in it for god sake. ... show more

I received a sample of this parfum from Sephora and feel in love with the light, floral scent. I am aware that the parfum vs Eau de Toilette sprays have different alcohol content and thus a different scent profile - this seemed significant for Dolce Floral when I sampled the two in Sephora. I recommend making sure you know if you intend to purchase the parfum versus Eau de Toilette before purchasing as the scents themselves are different. Very satisfied with the product although the scent itself doesn't last more than a few hours which I believe is due to the product quality of the higher alcohol content. ... show more

Beautiful. This bottle is retail wrapped. Plastic. Box. It's perfect. I have a small sample size of this, and couldn't get enough of it. I change my fragrance as I change my mood so it's wonderful to have many small bottles (1-1.7 ounces) because they lasts me forever. This is a wonderful scent. Fantastic! Perfect! This is the real thing not a knock off and for 1/3 the price of big name stores! I got a sample &I loved the light floral smell but didn&'t want to pay almost $80 an ounce! Amazon came through with this great product for a great price!
