    • Flattering dress but thin straps

I really like this dress. I ended up getting the one with the dots in the skirt because I wanted it to be a little less formal for a cruise dinner. It’s a great summer dress. I think if it had the plain chiffon fabric that would be better for a semi formal event or a wedding. It was very flattering and because the back of the bodice is elastic it’s also very forgiving. I thought there was nice coverage on the front. My only complaint with the whole dress and the reason I put it down to four stars instead of five was that the straps are way too thin. How many people can really pull off the bra-less look? If they had gone with slightly thicker straps I think most people could’ve worn a decent bra under it. I am just going to put a shrug on so I can wear a regular bra. I guess my other minor complaint (but I wouldn’t drop a star for it because it’s more of a style thing) is that I prefer to not have my midsection showing so I probably would’ve put a piece of fabric there instead but it’s not obvious so I still think the dress is a win. Also important to note: it was true to size and that I generally wear a 12 to 14 although lately probably more on the side of a 14 and I ordered the large and it fit perfectly. ... show more

First, I like the style of the dress a lot. It fit me nicely as a 5’4”, 210#, 36G rectangle. It’s hard to find a dress that fits well and the XL does that. I was hoping for a more dusty sage color and this is a much more mint.
