This dog house heater is small, but puts out a ton of heat. It would be great for dog houses- even large ones, chicken coupes, etc. It's easy to install and use. You can control it by using the app on your phone, or manually using the controller. You can increase and decrease temperature setting, use a timer, and power on and off. There is a digital-like thermometer that reads the internal temperature of the doghouse or area inside. It will automatically shut off when it reaches the temperature setting and then turn back on whenever it drops below. The cord going inside the doghouse is very durable and chew proof/resistant. However, the electrical cord going TO the heater isn't. It would be nice if both of them were the same sturdiness. Also, I wish the electrical cord was longer, so I wouldn't need to run an extension or need to move the doghouse closer to the fence. One thing I should mention is that the heater gets got to the touch and there isn't anything in place that would prevent an animal from pushing up against it and scalding themselves. I would either place it in a position where it's not going to be accessible to contact the animals or put a cage over it. Overall, it is a great heater that puts a lot of heat. It would heat a large doghouse or area no problem. It has really nice control features that you can do from the heater itself or from the comfort of your phone. There are a couple of changes I would make to improve it, but it does exactly what it's supposed to do.

Our golden retriever dog has his own enclosed area to the side of the house and the sensors that the heater has are perfection. It senses the temperature of the surroundings and ensures that the space does not overheat. I like that it has a remote control for easy of monitoring. The heater works very fast and warms up the place quickly. The app lets me control when to turn off/on and it is energy efficient. We are extremely happy with this heater!

Either way you choose to use it, it does a great job. Fires right up, functions great, puts out good heat, and controls are simple. I really appreciate the protective grate on the front to protect the little guys (both dogs and my toes) from danger. Thumbs up.

Easy to set up, but the app tells me that it's 60 degrees in the house (from the temp probe) but a separate remote thermometer (brand new) says it's 50 degrees in the house. So, why the huge difference? Also, in the app, the little setting pointer keeps spinning around the red/pink/orange circle indicating that the heater is on, but it is not on. Can't get a hold of tech support.

This is a smart heater, so you download the app and set it up like that, but it does need wifi. I've got this in my coop since I've got a bigger coop now and it's at the very edge of my wifi signal. With this hooked up though, you can control it with your phone. You can set schedules so this thing won't run 24/7 and hike up your bill to the sky. It comes with stuff to mount the heater and a really long cord for a thermometer
