Arguably, the closest thing you'll get in a dress show that is as comfy as a sneaker. This is the best shoe if you want to look stylish but are on the go and don't feel like you want to take two shoes, a sneaker and something dressing, but need to pound the pavement or get your steps in. Like any good shoe, though, show them love with conditioner or other rub-in oil or even vaseline to keep them looking shiny and prevent dirt or grime from shortening their lifespan and good looks. ... show more

Dockers has always been a brand I trust when it comes to providing a quality, business causal, work professional shoe that combines both the stylistic elements of leather and shine without feeling excessively dressy (i.e., black-tie). I bought two pairs of this style and I am pleased with both colors. The uppers with the black pair definitely squeak at first and will require some breaking in. Ironically, the dark brown pair seem to be a better fit and don't appear to have the same issue with noise. All-in-all, I give it 5 stars for price, quality, and comfort. ... show more

Finally a comfortable black, round toe shoe! My last pair wore out after 6 years. I have tried a few other name brands, but they were too tight on top and slipped in the back. I wear a size 8.5 and that what I ordered. They fit great!

This is the second pair I've owned. That's how much I like the shoes themselves. After the first pair, I waited roughly 5 years or so before I bought the second pair, thinking maybe they'd improve the quality of materials. Nope. The shoes are initially very comfortable and look great. But the material wears out quickly. The shoe laces they come with are awful and will rip apart after regular use. If you're ok with having these for regular use for 6 months to a year, you'll enjoy them. Otherwise, look for some shoes with better materials. ... show more
