I don't have an arch so the wide fit are perfect. However, if you have a brown or tan suit, be aware that the shoe does NOT look like the photo! It's not brown. it's more like burgundy! These shoes are comfortable and didn't require a lot of breaking-in. The leather quality is above average. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the value. My main complaint is the metal used in the production of the shoes. I'm sure it has a purpose (the shoes are solid).
