  • Wish I had read the reviews... Get a size down!
Size: 15 Color: Black
Only wore the shoes once before returning them. I hadn't read the reviews thoroughly enough, and didn't see the main complaint that they were too large. It's difficult enough to find size 15 shoes, so I thought that ordering a 15 would be fine. They were way too big for my foot, however (a rare, but somewhat novel experience to be sure.) I do have to praise the memory foam soul though. My foot bed was incredibly comfy, and felt like I was walking on clouds. The sole is also very grippy, something that I appreciated. I never understood the appeal in having dress shoes that are slick on the bottom. These felt grippy enough to almost be non-slip. Besides the size being too large, my other complaints deal with the weight of the shoe, and possibly another issue related to being too big. The shoe is very heavy, heavier than my mid Air Force 1's. This might be due to the extra sole material needed to allow for the memory foam, but I prefer a lighter shoe, especially as a slip on. Another issue may be related to the sizing being off, but the top of the lounge dug into the joint where my foot connects to my leg, and was very stiff and irritating. Perhaps with a proper fit, this wouldn't have been an issue, but it's something to look out for. I sadly returned these shoes, and when I considered purchasing them again a size down, they were out. I can't comment on how well they are when properly fitted, but I do have some mild praise for them, even despite the sizing issue. Make sure to get at least a size down. Or see if a local shoe store has some in stock that you can try on to find the right fit. ... show more

  • Good fit but lacks some comfort and quality
Size: 11 Color: Black
It's been exactly 9 months that I've been wearing these shoes to work. I wear them 4 days a week for 8-9 hours a day. For the first 6 months my job required no walking - just sitting at my desk all day (it was lame). My new job requires me to walk a bit more but only around the office for meetings. No all terrain required and nothing that would stress the shoes. That being said, I've noticed this week that the memory foam insert has worn through under the ball of my right foot. I've had shoes wear like this in heal cups, but never under foot on the insole. So I call that out as a quality issue. The only other complaint I have is that the heal cup is uncomfortable while driving. That could be me, but again this is the first shoe that has ever caused discomfort while driving. Otherwise, the show looks good and gets the job done. They are comfortable to walk in and fit quite well. Most of my other dress shoes lasted about 3 years but I expect these will need replacement before then. So 3 stars for being adequate shoes. Dinged 1 star for requiring me to buy inserts to deal with this wear discomfort. ... show more

  • Looks good but sizing is a problem
Size: 9.5 Color: Black
This is my second pair of these shoes and I like them so much I put up with their wonky sizing. First, they run WAY larger than expected. I have worn a size 10 for my entire adult life, but I have recently had to move up a 1/2 size due to a bummer big toe. I bought my first pair of Docker's in a shoe store and they felt OK at the onset, but quickly got bigger and bigger as I worked them in. So this time around, I bought a 9.5 and they seem to fit very well and I'm not swimming in them. Considering I am usually wearing a 10.5 now, I would say a full size smaller is a huge discrepancy. The other thing is that while the quality isn't that bad, they do take awhile to break in. I would say 2 weeks of daily usage before they actually feel like they will for the next few month. During those 2 weeks, the shoe hurts a lot. I think it's due to the price, it's not the highest quality leather I've ever felt. Also, my previous Dockers shoe upper lip would squeak if touched, almost like plastic. However, the ones ordered on Amazon do not have that problem. The memory foam feels nice at first, but then quickly compresses down and you really can't feel it. For the price and the look of the shoe, you really can't go too wrong. For sizing, take whatever you usually wear and go at least 1/2 size down if not even full size. ... show more

  • NOT non slip
Size: 11 Color: Black
My boyfriend is an Executive Chef, his usual shoe the "Lawson" was sold out. Amazon suggested this as a similar. He noticed almost immediately walking across the soapy floor during closing that these were not non slip at all. A good looking shoe, but not designed for your chefs. Just had to repurchase another shoe. Thankfully he's worked in restaurants long enough to navigate wet floors without getting hurt but these shoes are NOT NON SLIP. ... show more

  • Runs a full size too big, had to buy extra insoles
Size: 7.5 Color: Black
The shoe material isn't all that bad, but...the company that makes them just has no idea how to measure shoes. I normally wear an 8, but people said order small. So, I ordered a 7.5. The shoes are still a size too big. I would have been better off just going down to the local store where an 8 is an 8. Dockers, you can do better. * Update 03/03/2017 I've moved from a 2 star rating, to a 3 star rating (really a 3.5). I bought extra insoles: Dr. Scholl's Double Air-Pillo Custom Comfort Insoles ($6.91), and at least now they fit. They actually feel pretty comfortable. Dockers, you owe me $6.91. ... show more

  • Flawed, but fixable.
Size: 10.5 Color: Black
I wear a size 11. I ordered a 10 1/2 since everyone says they run a bit big. My foot swims in them. I could have ordered a 10. I am certain there is an error in their sizing as the shoe is large enough to easily slip in a pair of Nike size 11 cushioned inserts. I added the inserts because the cushioning of this shoe is not what I had hoped. The memory foam is a gimmick, as you only feel it when you are off your feet. It is too small and not nearly firm enough to even notice while standing or walking. That said, with the inserts I robbed from my Nike Dual Fusions, I have addressed two of the the three main flaws with this shoe: size and comfort. The inserts raise my foot just enough that the shoe fits fine and provides the extra comfort for all day standing and working. The last flaw was the quality of the outer. I bumped my coffee table when I first got them, most likely because they felt like clown shoes, and I immediately put a dime sized scuff on the toe of the show. It was nothing a good polishing could not fix, but I hesitate to think what a curb would do. Aside from that, it is a good looking shoe which will look fine in almost any setting. ... show more
