Bought two pairs and they are holding up to ware and washing. I wear them for work and church, and they look good for both. My wife likes the way they look on me, they are less restrictive and rough, and they are more comfortable than a few other brands that cost less, but you get what you pay for. They pair well with my button-up shirts and sport coats. They dry off fast, whe it rains. Even the zipper seems too. Have a little bit better quality to it. How good over all? This is the 2nd pair of classic fit pants I have purchased. The last pair are at least 3 years or so old and I purchased them from Amazon. A few items I noticed between the older pair and the new pair was that they added an elastic waist band. It helped out with the fit as the pants are loose on me. I have been loosing weight and at that size between 42 and 44. 44 is a bit big, 42 to small. The waist band did help cinch it up a bit, but still loose enough not to cut off circulation. The color was still true. The material on the other hand felt thinner. Don't know if this is because of a higher thread count from the last pair I purchased, or just different material blend. Over all I would recommend these. See if they hold up as well as my last pair. ... show more

These are good pants. My dad wanted khaki pants that were regular gray color (not dark gray). It was hard to find in the size and length he needed (we looked at so many different stores). This is the perfect gray color that he can wear any time. We bought different sizes to try on. Just like many other reviews said, these run a little small. My dad had to go a size up. He usually is a 42, but he got a 44. Honestly, there wasn't a huge difference, but 42 ran tight. Definitely ran smaller than a normal sized 42. 44 was perfect. Since it's free returns, I would buy two sizes to compare. They also will shrink a little in wash. Good, basic pants for my dad who is older. ... show more

I'm 5'9" and 300 lbs so big around the middle. My usual pants are from DXL, the Oak Hill flat front Tech Pants, which are the best I've found in my size (50W, 28L). I wear them up around the widest part of my belly with a stretch belt and the shirt tucked in. Thought I'd try these because of the lower price and Docker's is a pretty well known brand. Well... they're not terrible. Fit is about the same as the Oak Hill, but these bunch up when I tighten the belt enough to keep them from slipping down off my belly. The main difference is the Oak Hills are elastic all around, plus the material is stretchy, so they stretch nice and even. The Dockers material is not very stretchy, and they have the elastic sliders, one on each side. I don't know, they just look a little sloppy when the belt is tightened. The material is thinner than the Oak Hill so the feeling and look is not as high quality. Price difference, you're looking at $40 for these and $70 for the Oak Hill, not surprising given the difference in quality. My advice, if you're a heavy guy like me, these will work if you need them for one occasion, and keep them to maybe wear again someday. If you're gonna wear them all the time like for work, forget these pants. ... show more
