  • 2003 Nissan Maxima Exhaust System
Color: Round Burnt
The media could not be loaded. It fit good on my 2003 Nissan Maxima SE 3.5 V6 i did have to take it to shop due to a part that was to short and got it welded to fit great took off the silencer and Sounds way better and loud pops are cool too I recommend this exhaust system

  • Deep throaty and unrestricted
Color: Round Burnt
The media could not be loaded. Here is a video of the sound of the exhaust WITH the tip installed. Some call it a silencer, and it does reduce noise by about 10 dB in the car. Installation was easy-this fits FEDERAL emissions vehicles. Took roughly 45 minutes to install. The dB readings are inside the car with the tip installed (66.4 dB) and without the tip (74.6 db) taken at 60 MPH on an open road with no traffic. I will try to upload a video of the sound without the tip, it's much more aggresive. ... show more

  • Great exhaust... no hardware included
Color: 14mm/Double Walled
Seems okay so far! I like the diameter of the pipe! If you are installing yourself, you are going to face some obstacles with the heat shields(which are easy to bend) and the rear passenger suspension on the rear section. I only rate it 4 stars because all these reviews I’ve read before making the purchase made it seem like the appropriate gaskets and hardware would be included in the package... but in my pictures I circled in red where I had to buy my own gaskets, 3 pairs of nuts, bolts, and washers. Not a big deal in the bigger picture, however was an inconvenience nonetheless. My local auto store did not have the best prices on quality gaskets, but I got them and ended up installing a quality product overall. I also replaced other parts of my exhaust towards the manifold, and the finished product resulted in a heartier sound, freeing of trapped power on the bottom end, and what seems like better mpgs when I take it easy! I would recommend to people like me that live in winter states that take a toll on an underbody of a vehicle. My exhaust was completely rusted through, and this product has satisfied my needs! ... show more

  • Will not work with federal emissions system maximas
Color: 14mm/Double Walled
I wish the people who manufactured this exhaust did some research, if your maxima has the federal emissions system you will have to bypass the post cat o2 sensor an absolute headache having to now weld a new mount for the o2 sensor horrible experience.

  • Did you fart? It wasn't me.
Color: Round Burnt
Overall it was an easy install. Slight customization needed on a hangar near the bend because it was going to rattle against it. Took the foam packaging and zip ties around the hangar and problem solved. You may need to bend the heat shield over the same bend at the connector. It is so wide that it slightly touches the heat shield on the edges and would no doubt rattle. I just widened the heat shield with pliers. Good sound on VQ. Deep throaty intimidating sound, not farty or whiney. From 30-45mph on local streets and depending on your driving habits you can have constant drone (automatic tranny). From 45mph and up it's fairly quiet, especially on the highway. There is a silencer if you decide that's what you need. Overall, good purchase. ... show more

  • So far, so good. Sounds good, probably not too loud for California
Color: 14mm/Double Walled
(review for beginners) Removing the old system. All necessary gaskets/hardware was included. I have a 120v DeWalt 1/2" Impact Driver. This always comes in handy for this kind of job with rusty hardware. The HARDEST part of this whole deal will be removing the back half of the old system. It may be easier to do in a lift but I dropped the 4 bolts holding the suspension in place without letting them come all the way out and took the rear passenger tire off. Other than that EVERYTHING WAS A BREEZE. Getting the rear 3rd in was much easier! From there, I bolted up the middle piece no problem. Gasket fitment on the catalytic converter was a minor problem, I simply used some tin snips to cut one of the holes. I had to loosen up the heat shield on the cat to get the rest of the is system off. (sound/ performance and fit) Not too loud even revving up to 5,500. The OBD CPU will have to adjust so the jury will be out for a days. I drive for optimum mpg so I'll follow up if it improves. (FINAL) The system looks much better than my tired factory exhaust did. My car is a 5 speed manual, honestly getting out of 1st with a whisper quiet exhaust is tedious especially since this is 1 of 4 stick shift cars I drive. I honestly think I'm going to be a lot happier with this car's new setup ... show more
