Sounds pretty good for the price, way better than chopping off the muffler like some people do. I have headers on my car too so it gets alittle raspy above 4 to 5k rpms, but at idle and from 1 to 3k it has a nice throaty sound. Only complain is that it doesn't sit exactly where the bumper cut out is for the pipe, it sits kinda crooked. Be prepared to fight rusted bolts on your car too, have a propane torch handy and make sure to use tons of pb blaster the day before and let it soak in and soak it again right before you go to wrenching on them, the rusted bolts will snap off and make life way more difficult than it should be. ... show more

Bought this exhaust system for a little over 100 bucks. Compared to HKS, Greddy etc you would pay 5x as much. Like other posters stated, you have to trim the flange on ur existing oem y pipe in order the dna midpipe to fit. Also the exhaust tip is slightly off so you can trim or let it melt the bumper surrounding the tip and u can peel it off in a couple of days. ... show more

I raided this at five star because I personally think that it is good product for the price. I need to replace my exhaust system for my 2001 Lexus IS300 and this fit good and sounds good. I just had to get a grinder and cut part of the factory fitting off the catalytic converter on the y-pipe for the mid pipe to fit and part of the rear bumper as well so the exhaust doesn't melt the bumper. It only took me an hour to hook up the exhaust but I do recommend buying the little rubber hangers to hold the exhaust up. It's just easier to cut and replace and they are cheap 25$ ... show more

i've gotten two kits so far the first one didn't line up at all the second barely fits. it has a exhaust leak where the resonator meets the stock exhaust so you'll have to have a grinder. fix the hangers or else it melts the bumper so you'll also need a welder. over all if you get the kit you'll still end up needing to go into a shop if you don't have the tools. ... show more

Do not buy this exhaust do not buy from this manufacturer I bought this in May and it's now October and it already broke on one of the hanger hooks not sure when it broke but I started hearing a whistling sound maybe a month or two ago and I didn't know what it was but every time I accelerate it I would hear this whistling sound I thought maybe I had an exhaust leak from one of the gaskets and when I finally looked it was one of the hanger hooks broke off and again this is only a few months after I bought it normal use I only put about 5,000 miles on it maybe less and good luck contacting the manufacturer I called them had me on hold for over an hour and we'll see how it goes with email but definitely do not buy ... show more

I bought this simply for the piping. I expected it to be a trash system and not fit at all from other reviews. I bolted the two pieces together first. Then bolted to the cat pipe. After bolting tight I then put it in the hangers. Everything fit perfectly and sealed good. Even lined up in the bumper properly. The sound was a million times better than I expected.
