We ordered the DKNY Women's Carmel Tall Knee High Heeled Boots for my daughter's 16th birthday. I don't think she has taken them off since. :O) seriously though, she wears them any time she goes out. She has long (to her butt) dark brown strait hair. These Boots enhance her great look. Being a DKNY brand, The quality of the boot is expected and is delivered in spades. They are well made from a faux leather and are comfortable (according to her... they don't exactly fit me so I cannot speak from experience in this regard. :O) Bottom line is that these boots are really sleek and very stylish pair of boots that my daughter loves. I am not a person that usually would purchase a "name brand" anything. I would however, be negligent in my review if I did not recommend these to anyone who wants a good quality boot.

I absolutely love these DKNY Carmel tall boots as they look so sleek and stylish in person. The knee-high design gives a really polished look and the heel adds just the right amount of height without feeling uncomfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable they are even after wearing them for a few hours. The fit is great and feels secure without being too tight around the calf. The material looks high quality and holds its shape well. I have worn them with dresses and jeans and they instantly elevate the whole outfit. Overall these boots are a great mix of style and comfort and definitely worth it.

I am absolutely smitten with these boots. A few details first. I am 5’ 5.5” and 140lbs. Calf circumference is a smidge under 14.5” and I have a regular leaning slightly towards narrow size 8 foot. I always in pointy toed boots order half a size up, because I like to be able to wear a sock in them if I so choose. So I did order an 8.5. These arrived so well packaged in their shoe box. There was support in the toe and the whole shank of the book with shaped board, foam and paper. They had tissue paper covering each boot and a separator between both shoes. The first thing I noticed about the boots, other than being gorgeous, was the amazing tread on the bottom. It wasn’t obvious from the side to keep the sexy silhouette but I am not worried about slipping and falling on tile floors or minor ice patches. And they fit like a dream. The calf had plenty of room without the sock and fit just against (but not tight) my knit thigh high socks. The toe box did not squish the front of my feet and the footbed was very comfortable, especially for a thinner heeled boot. I have been wearing them around my house for a couple hours a day to see how my feet would feel and I definitely think this is a heeled boot I could wear all day and I wouldn’t be tempted to pull out flats by night time. DKNY always uses quality materials in my experience and it was no exception here the material felt hardy but not stiff. The zipper teeth fit snug but wasn’t a fight to get up. And I love the raised subtle DKNY at the top. I definitely think these boots are worth purchasing, they are simple enough to pair with many different styles and can easily be dressed up or down.

I ordered these boots because I love boots, for one, and because I've been wanting some sleeker boots that I can wear with nice dresses or for dressier parties. I wouldn't consider these an all day boot, but for a few hours at a social event, they are comfortable enough that they shouldn't cause foot pain. Pros: -Shape. The shaping is beautiful and sleek. The point makes it versatile - they will absolutely look nice for a date night or with a dress at a party or social event. They are also versatile enough to wear with a sweater and a skirt or pants. -Heel shape. I like that these are a cross between the dainty heel, and a bit more structure. The heel is mostly thin, but it spreads a bit toward the bottom for better support and balance. - Material. The upper material has a good weight to it, and feels soft on the inside of the boot shaft. I really like the rubber added to the bottom of the sole which gives it more of a grip on the ground, and should help with longevity. The one thing I wish was different is that I wish they were made with true leather, but that probably would have added a fair amount of additional expense to these boots. Cons: -Space for calves. If you have muscular calves, these may be a squeeze. I do, and they are. It's a squeeze for me at the widest point of my calves. Overall, a beautiful set of boots that have a lot of nice add-on features for a taller boot. Not for more muscular than average calves, though. Most women will love these!

These are some of the flyest boots I’ve gotten in a long time! Let’s not forget DKNY has been that brand since forever! The leather quality is amazing and the boot shape and style are so good! The is slightly thick making them comfortable to walk and stand in. I would say the heels are about 3 1/2 inches. The black is sharp and the little peekaboo of silver around the heel is cute! The inside is padded so you don’t need to add extra cushion these are already comfy enough. I HIGHLY recommend getting you a pair of these before they no longer make them.

The boot has a structured shaft that holds its shape and a stable heel for its height. The material feels durable with a consistent texture, and the stitching is clean throughout. The zipper moves smoothly and stays in place while walking. Fit is true to size with a snug calf design typical of this style. Not suitable for those with thick calves, as the shaft has minimal stretch. Traction on the outsole is moderate and appropriate for regular wear. I ususally avoid pointy toes because they tend to pinch. I decided to give these a try and I'm glad I did. The boot is made so my foot doesn't slide to the front and my toes were not pinched at all. I wore these all day to meetings and running errands and they we comfortable all day. The top part was wide enough and did was not tight on my calves, even over jeans. The zipper operated smoothly (a plus, as I often have to struggle with shoe zippers.) I usually wear heels, and this one was high enough to look classy, but not too high, and they wer still comfortable to walk in. The style is classic and can be worn for both casual and dressy occasions. I thought about ordering a half size up, but decided to go with my normal size 7 and it fits me perfectly. These seem very durable and the leather and zipper both seem good quality! The size is a little smaller so I would size up if I were you (I didn’t but they can stretch to be a little more comfy over time) the style is also super cute!
