I flew my DJI Mini 3 today for the 1st time out in real open space. Battery life depends on modes and everything else you should know if you have one. I am very happy with the drone and the battery. Longest flight was 32 minutes, while taking short videos and stills. The long battery life allowed me to take 25 minute flight and traveled aprox 6 km. In 10-15 mph winds. Wind also effects battery life. I have zero regret that I purchased an extra 5 of these batteries. Only problem I have is that unless you get a charging port, the battery being charged has to be plugged into the drone. Injust purchased the 3 battery charger so soon I will have zero to complain about everything I've purchased from DJI If you're still reading this than I thank you. Haha. Two thumbs up! ... show more

This is an essential for anyone with a DJI mavic mini 3 or any other compatible DJI drones. The batteries don’t last long, meaning having more than one is needed. I run with just two batteries and they seem to do the job. I will probably be buying a third soon though.

#1 you do not want to buy a non genuine DJI battery, here's why in my experience when I did my DJI mini 3 pro an mini 4 pro, wound not do a firmware update, which could possibly keep your drone from flying correctly an possibly even not rth, as mine did because it wouldn't let me do a gimbal calibration I took off once short flight was ok second flight well I had to recover it about 200 yards away by the rc 2 controller by the flying map, following the map I got within around 10' radius, lucky me, an I don't know if your aware of pilot Institute but they recently gave updates on these drones an with the 249 gram battery it won't send the rid. For recreational it's ok but put prop guards on an it needs to be faa drone zone registered, don't be that guy,watch Greg on pilot Institute an keep yourself an friends out of a serious issue w/ the faa, great battery I purchased enough to have 6 for each drone an they update every time, same cost as the others but only buy these believe me, good luck happy flying I usually don't do reviews but since other batteries on the DJI drones, don't update fair warning so I shared my experience since it can not only create your experience drone a problem but flying under 44809 the faa says these batteries will have to have your drone faa registered it's only $5.00 for three yrs. Rest easy make it right for all who fly, have a great time flying, an please check out pilot Institute they have many free courses on flying your drone ... show more
