I bought these for triathlons where wetsuits are illegal. My feet sink. Ironman rules specify a 30-second (70.3) or 60-second (penalty) for wearing booties above 65F water temperature; although I recommend clearing their use with the chief referee before each event as many think the penalty is DQ. I save more time than the penalty in those events by having my feet float. They need to fit tightly to work well (IMO) and are a bit slow to get off, but they are thick and video shows my feet MUCH higher when wearing them. I'm sure they are warm also. Terrible product. I went to try these booties on and slipped my foot it. When I pulled up on the sock as you would for any sock, the seams literally ripped apart across the entire seam. Total junk.

These keep my feet warm and toasty, but they are IMPOSSIBLE to get on! They're also a bit too large, and not terribly comfortable. They are much better than nothing, though.

The media could not be loaded. Somewhat good bootie. Didn’t fit me to well. Got XL and i’m a 10.5 mens and it’s just to big. Has an amazing sealant and fit around your foot. Good grip on bottom and works well. Ordered 5mm thickness, worked great.

I got these and wore them the next day in my wading boots. They were very comfortable and thick. Now I have worn them maybe ten times. I still think they’re comfortable & sturdy, but I gradually realized that the bootie is made from panels sown together and the panel that is the sole of the bootie is not 5 mm. I’d guess it is 3 mm. That hasn’t affected performance yet. But they advertise these as 5 mm booties and they’re not. ... show more
