As the dad and primary driver of a teenage lacrosse goalie, I can you tell you that there is nothing that is more foul and putrid than the scent of that goalie gear and those pads after a weekend long tournament. It makes my nose want to cry and cleanse my nasal passages with horse manure. Clear Gear is my savior. The long stinky car ride home from those tournaments is now only long thanks to this spray. The smell is good and after a thorough dousing it makes my son's gear tolerable. Fabreeze just masks the smell temporarily, this is the stuff you want. Get it! Now! Your nose will thank you.

Clear gear spray. We use this on my son’s athletic gear regularly. Recently he “forgot” to use it for a few weeks. His whole bag of gear smelled awful. We had to apply this several times to get rid of the smell. This is great at preventing odor. It works for removing funk, but it may take a few applications to do so.

I purchased this product to use specifically on my gym workout clothes, t-shirts and sweatshirts and it didn’t help to elevate the sweat smell. I had better results using white vinegar added to the rinse cycle.
