The sizing is actually spot-on here. My 7yr old fit into the 7 perfectly...he wears a size 7 in store clothes too. He is average to thin. The elastic on the mask is questionable lasting long as it the velcro attaching each side. Also the tiny velcro on the front holding the tie will absolutely need to be reinforced but for $17ish dollars for a jack costume I'm not deducting stars. The overall fabric quality is thin but seems stronger than most. I can see it will make it through a bit of playtime dressups after Halloween. The mask is great quality and has decent eye holes that allow good vision for a mask. But be prepared to have a plan to keep the bowtie on and maybe some ribbon for the mask to replace lame elastics. My 7yr old said it was very comfortable once we removed the huge tag. If it's on sale under 20 I say go for it! ... show more

It’s a very thin material but that’s to be expected for kid’s costumes. I definitely recommend to have your child wear warm clothes underneath if it gets cold where you live. The mask is well made I just wish the strap in the back was adjustable instead of just the Velcro at the end of the elastic. My son loves it regardless and it fit him good, a little long but that’s okay. The bow is detachable by Velcro and it’s Velcro in the back of the costume. The white part of the chest is somewhat see through so if you have your child wear something underneath I’d suggest it be white or black. But other than that I love this costume. I don't really like the stitching at the lining, it looks so cheap. But it's a good fit costume. My son loves it. I can easily put some sweats on him underneath and possibly a turtleneck so I don't have to worry too much while trick or treating this year.

This costume fits my seven year old great. In the pictures he's also wearing jeans and a t-shirt underneath. It's stretchy and he will probably be able to wear this for a couple years because of the stretch. Awesome costume!!

It is a very stretchy and comfortable material. My son loves it. I bought one from Party City and another one ftom Amazon before ordering this one but had to returned them because they did not strech and were too small for my son. Disney costumes never disappoint. Recommend 100%.
