When the wig arrived, the ends of the fibers were very frizzy and badly tangled. I washed it, boiled it, conditioned it, and steamed it before putting it in curlers overnight. Ultimately, it worked out beautifully. Just be aware that it will bleed when wet, even without heat, and you will have many white fibers left over. It will also shed a lot, and the shorter hairs under the wefts can frizz up and make the top of the head look fuzzy. I was very gentle with it, and managed not to lose too many hairs. Wig is packed with a net for protection. Love the thickness and colors. Needs a lot of bobby pins to hold firmly due to heaviness and thickness. Hoping this will last more than the 2 events we intended to use it for.
