It's hard to be mad at a $16 balloon set, but this one makes it possible. Let me count my frustrations. 1) the mylar balloons pop unless you blow them up with the straw. Who has time for that? There are no duplicate letters, so I got to throw away a 'happy birt' set of balloons when the h popped. 2) there is a picture of a balloon tying tool, but it is not included so enjoy tying 88 balloons. 3) the dinosaur balloons leak. 1 never inflated, another leaked slowly, so that's 1/2 of them. Hurray. 4) the balloon arch is too weak, it's not an arched peice of plastic but instead a thin ribbon of plastic. Also there are no glue dots included so all the balloons are on the ribbon. 5) I hope you like random balloons popping, because that it what you will get. Mostly at 2 am when you are asleep, as you wake in terror. 6) the tattoos are actually pretty nice. But everything else was disappointing. Move along, buy one of the other kits. ... show more

Pros- good quality dinosaur and palm tree balloons Dinosaur tattoos were good. But that’s it. Cons- the balloons were HORRIBLE. My four year old’s birthday featured an X-rated T-Rex balloon. Someone saw an opportunity when making it and ran like the wind. This was the area to blow up the balloon and felt dirty once I realized where it was located, not only that but it was longer than the other balloons blow areas. So I know it was done on purpose. But at least I could still use it, after I taped that part up. The regular balloons were absolutely unusable. They had a VERY STRONG chemical smell and taste. We probably contracted some kind of cancer or the corona virus because of them. Ended up just throwing the rest away, I was scared for our health. I would not recommend. Side note: a terrible migraine developed just hours after blowing up the balloons. So just beware. ... show more

Excellent value for the the money! This (and my own crafting abilities) exceeded my expectations! Ok, a few of the latex balloons had holes and were duds, but for less than $20, I’m ok with a few dead on arrival balloons when everything else worked great. The dinosaur balloons are a good size. The “balloon chain” made assembling the garland way way easier than how I’ve tried (and spectacularly failed) to make garlands in the past. (You just pull the ends of inflated balloons through the little holes.) The letter balloons came with string and worked like they were supposed to. I haven’t use the cake toppers yet but they look fine. And if you’re still not convinced this is worth the money, they throw in some temporary tattoos to sweeten the deal. What more can you want?? Pro tip: buy a balloon pump/inflater. Otherwise enlisting your spouse to help blow up this many balloons by hand/lungs at 11pm the night before your offspring’s bday will test the strength of your partnership. The hardest part of this whole display was stringing this from my ceiling (by myself) at midnight (bc the aforementioned spouse had reached his threshold by then.) *note: the pictures show leafy greens as part of the garland but those are not included. You can probably pick up some fake greenery from the dollar store, or cut some out of card stock and stick them in. ... show more

I did not expect much based on reviews, but it turned out pretty good! None of the latex balloons popped on us while blowing them up or assembling the arch. Two of the Mylar dinosaur balloons deflated- I accidentally poked a hole in one with the straw and a kid popped another one. Probably not the best quality, but still fun and impressive for our guests. We were happy with how it looks, but we will likely never buy again, simply because of the amount of time and effort it took to inflate and assemble. Pretty happy with it, though. ... show more

    • Dinosaur balloon decorations
I loved the dinosaur balloons in this kit for my son's birthday, but I didn't end up using the smaller balloons to make the arch. I bought a different kit for the background, so I didn't need the arch after all. It looked complicated in the kit, and didn't have clear instructions on how to put it together, so I moved on. The dinosaurs were cool, but didn't float with helium. Also, they were top heavy, so they didn't sit right at all. the triceratops was especially off and kept falling on it's face. I had to put a small weight taped to his back to keep his legs down and face up. I used helium but they definitely were not your typical helium balloons. We had to work at each crevice to make sure it filled with air. The palm tree and green dinosaur sat up correctly when filled, but the others had to be tied differently to make them somewhat look right in the air. Having all of the different dinosaurs was worth the price, but it could use some tweaking to make it better. I would still recommend it, but be prepared to get creative with how you string them. ... show more

Let me just say I ordered this for my sons birthday and it was fantastic. I couldn’t believe how much I got for the price I paid!! We loved this, the dinosaurs are huge they were bigger then our 1 year old. The tattoos are super cute too! We used different cake toppers but loved the decorations! Oh and the balloon arch was so easy to use and made it look professional. Doesn’t come with balloon blower so we just used our bike pump and it worked great. ... show more

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Eh Majority of the balloons that we were able to blow up, either didn’t float or popped (the happy birthday, didn’t make it). You definitely NEED a STRONG helium machine (the $35 one from Party City didn’t suffice) so inflate the dinosaur ones 1st!!! Overall, I’m not pleased, because we can’t make an arch with these. I never would’ve purchased if I knew I needed a powerful helium tank to achieve the look. ... show more
