I purchased the Dimcol Black Contact Paper to give an old dresser a makeover, and I am so impressed with the results. The matte black finish looks sleek, modern, and much more expensive than I expected. It completely transformed a worn-out piece of furniture into something that looks brand new. The contact paper was easy to apply and had enough flexibility to reposition during installation when needed. With a little patience and smoothing, I was able to achieve a clean, professional-looking finish with very few bubbles. The adhesive sticks well but isn't overly aggressive, which made the process much less stressful. I especially love the matte finish because it doesn't show fingerprints as easily as glossy surfaces and gives the dresser a high-end appearance. The material feels durable and has held up well to daily use so far. This was a budget-friendly DIY project that made a huge difference in the look of my room. If you're thinking about updating old furniture, cabinets, shelves, or other surfaces without spending a lot of money, I highly recommend this contact paper. I needed this contact paper for an unusual purpose and was so pleased with the results that I decided to write a review. Our puppy had chewed on a piece of furniture that was part of a set. Refinishing to match would have been impossible and a perfect shelf edge no longer existed. I got the idea to cover with contact paper but did not want it to be shiny. This contact paper is a true black matte. It has a great rougher texture and was easy to work with. I was able to cut exactly what I needed using the grid on the back paper. The paper peeled off easily and I was able to stick the contact paper to the edge of the shelf without any bubbles. I was also able to make adjustments to get it straight. I was concerned that it may gradually peel off since it's going the whole way around the edge of the shelf but it's been months and it's still holding fine. This simple fix has saved us a lot of money because our only other option was to contact the company where it was made. Nobody even realizes the contact paper is there because it just looks like a shadow.

Paper was thicker than I expected so seems durable. It went on decently with some bubbles. I poked a small hole in the ones I couldn’t get out and then it pressed down well. It looks nice and easily covered my old contact paper that I couldn’t peel out of the drawers.

I think this is great quality for the price. It's thick, strong, textured for some extra quality points, cuts easily, and sticks well the first time you lay it down. Take your time to avoid wrinkles and it'll look flawless. I used this to cover a wall between remodeling phases while we wait for cabinets. Good amount on the roll too and helpful grid lines on the backing to guide cutting. Very happy with the result.

I got this product originally to turn my white end tables black. The adhesive quality is good but maybe too good. Once it sticks, it’s hard to pull back up. So don’t make mistakes. The thickness of the material itself isn’t super thick as it’s easy to cut with scissors, but it’s thick enough that it won’t rip as you’re peeling off the sticky backing. Overall, the look is nice and clean. Perfect for what I needed it for. However it took me multiple tries to get it looking smooth without air bubbles. I highly suggest watching videos on how to install removable wallpaper. The price point wasn’t bad for what I needed it for, but you do get what you pay for.

It was easy to put on and rearrange as needed. It looks like a real frame unless you touch it (obviously) or start "inspecting" it. I wanted a cheap upgrade to my mirror and this did the trick. I have not showered (steam) in the room yet, so I am unsure it it will hold up.
