    • Ok beginner skate that's adjustable
If you buy this skate there is one thing to be aware of. The skate doesn't really have real trucks. This means the skate is harder to turn than a normal skate. The trucks have a hard plastic insert and a hard plastic connector at each axle. Other than that, the only other issue is the toe stop is plastic and doesn't stop very well. However the wheels are very good soft compound and provide good grip. A child should be able to learn how to stop without the toe stop. Consider replacing it though. ... show more

It was incredibly difficult to get a quick photo because my son loves them! First time in skates and he’s picking it up well. The younger one wanted to try them on pretty bad. I didn’t realize they lol had lighted wheels, which is a big plus for the little ones. The brake on the nose is pretty rigid which should stand up well to on-cement use. Wheels spins freely and fast. I bought these for my boy. He wears shoe size 3.5 the skates looked small when I took them out but saw how I can adjust them to make it longer. What a great feature!!! The added lights on the rollers are an added bonus. These are great skates. My boy is so happy with his skates.

Very well made. My kid loves it so much especially with the light on the wheels. They have the button to adjust the size of the shoes which is perfect. These skate shoes will grow with your kid. Good purchase!

The screws keep coming off then wheels fall off. My son is barely starting to learn how to ride them and they don’t function correctly.

My son got these for this 3rd birthday and loves them. If you want your kids to learn how to stop without the front stopper, spend the extra $30-$40 and purchase them from an actual skating company.
