    • Excellent entertainment for my 6yr old...and me!
When I first ordered this game, I was disappointed because it never arrived. Amazon's excellent customer service immediately shipped a replacement - I could not have been happier with their help. Of all the gifts this Xmas, THIS has been my son's favorite. We have spent hours upon hours playing different variations of this game (that we invented). Yes, even I have worn the vest and have had so much fun playing. One thing my son likes to do is wear a vest on the front AND the back at the same time. That way, one person becomes the entire target while another person is the attacker. This is a great gift for kids his age because it keeps them moving and laughing. I read some reviews about the balls not sticking too well, and my response is that they WON'T stick every single time. After all, they are only velcro and are only meant to be toys. With that being said, we have not been even slightly disappointed with this product. While we were visiting family during the holidays, it was much too cold to play outside, and I don't like letting my kid watch hours of tv. This dodge tag game was great for getting him away from the tv, and it was even great for getting his 80yr old greatgrandparents to play a physical game with him. We have enjoyed this gift so much that I even bought a second one for his friend. For anyone who has a sewing machine, it is also quite easy to make more balls. I plan to make more balls as well as a field accessories...shields, hats, etc. ... show more

    • Would be nice for small kids
The tag bibs are fairly small. They will fit on myself and my ten year old but the target area is so small it’s almost impossible to get a ball to stick by just throwing it at them. You have to physically make contact with the other person in order to hit the target. The Velcro is strong and the balls will stick though. Probably would work well for smaller kids. ... show more

    • Fun, but could use some improvements.
I bought these as a Christmas present for my 7-year-old nephew. He has a 9-year-old brother, and I thought this would be a good activity for them to burn off energy together. The balls stick to the velcro pretty easily, so that's nice. Overall, I thought it was fun, but there are a couple improvements I would make. First of all, since the targets are only on the front, my nephew found out pretty quickly that he could just drop to the ground curled up in a ball and no one could get him. There needs to be a target on the back as well so that it forces them to keep moving. Secondly, my nephews are both lanky, and the younger one wanted the vest cinched tight enough that it wouldn't flop around while he ran. The actual vest part is tiny enough for a kid, but the part that's supposed to go around them is big enough for a heavy adult. We made it as small as it could go and could still ALMOST lap the velcro tie around him multiple times, but it didn't quite reach on the last time around, so we had to just velcro it like normal and then tie up the excess to keep it from dragging. Since it was still fun, I just consider these minor flaws and still think it deserves a pretty good rating. ... show more

So this set came in today and I was so pleased! The vests are nicely constructed and look like they can withstand rough play. The Velcro on the vests is super sticky- the balls stick to it like glue! The vests are adjustable and can accommodate even teeny waisted kids; my 6 year old is little and the back strap went around his back and stuck securely to the vest- no flapping straps! Besides being durable and well constructed it is such a fun game! My sons got themselves rigged up in the vests and played outside for a solid hour and a half non stop. I am going to order two more for when friends come to play and for family dodge tag games! ... show more

    • This was the best gift at the party
This was the best gift at the party. I gave thus to my b ephew for his birthday last week and we have been running around in these silly vest throwing balls at each other ever since. He simply can't get enough of it. The best part is it some how fits adults and children...this is a huge plus for ys because we didn't have to buy two different games. Also another plus for me was the vest is well made we have been pulling the balls off the velcro for a week now and you can't even tell it's been used. The velcro is still attached to the vest. Also the red balls that come with the set are soft so no matter how hard you throw it no one gets hurt! I am in love with playing this game with my nephew and even watching him play it with his friends. It's hours and hours of good fun. ... show more

    • Great little toys for young ones that love to throw things at eachother.
My kids love this. The velcro works great and the balls stick well. I like how the balls are soft so no hits to the face will hurt. Anything that has a "fuzzy" surface like tennis balls or socks also stick to the vest. The vest fit my 3 and 5 year old both.

I bought 5 sets for my grandson’s. They immediately put on targets with one of the parents and it was blue team against the green team. They had so much fun. Dodge Tag was a hit. Highly recommended. The boys along with their parents work off a lot of energy. (It would have been nice if targets were on the back as well, but never-the-less they all had a great time).
