  • Great look and feel. A new favorite!
These are very comfortable, and quite stylish. True to size. They have quickly found themselves in my go-to rotation. They go with anything, can be worn in a variety of settings, from ultra casual, to just short of Dress-up. I'd call the fit straight. I have long legs, and narrow hips, and these are neither baggy, nor skinny looking on me. Not to say there isn't a taper, it just doesn't result in my calves being hugged. They also have a small amount of elasticity, increasing comfort and fit, but without being "stretchy" feeling. They seem durable enough. As I mention, I wear these all the time now. No sign they are wearing down. I find there are jeans in every price range that end up being flimsy, or shoddy, and these are not. ... show more

  • Very comfortable, attractive pants
These pants are my first time trying any from Diesel so I was not sure what to expect. Probably the thing that surprised me at first was how thin the material is, which makes me worry about the long term durability of these. It is worth mentioning that the care instructions call for very delicate treatment, no tumble drying, and even no dry cleaning. So they should last a good long time. They are super soft, stretchy, and very comfortable. The tapered fit gives the slim pant look without being as uncomfortable to wear. I found the fit to be just a smidge on the big side, but not enough that I would have wanted to size down, but worth mentioning. My wife said she likes the way these look when I'm wearing them, and I like the way they feel and look, so it's all a win. ... show more

  • Great fit, look and very comfortable -
Thanks for reading my review! These jeans are amazing! As you have read, the 3%Elastane-Spandex give these jeans a little bit of give everywhere, making them extremely comfortable to wear and move around in. The specific model of Diesel jeans (D-Fining 0699P) is a lighter than usual fit, which drapes easy over your body and honestly, almost gives you a feeling they're not there. Although they are lightweight, they do not feel as though they're prone to ripping easily at all. Please know these are button-up jeans (see pic), not zippered which is not a deal breaker for me as it doesn't influence the performance factor. However, some people may have a preference against buttons. I would characterize the color of these jeans as a faded black/gray. Please refer to my last picture in the set, where I laid these jeans (on the left) against a pair of black jeans. This will give you an idea of the texture and tone. The fit - the fit is true and soft against your skin. I wore them out with a white t-shirt and a black hoodie and received compliments on my outfit. Bottom line: With Diesel being a high end jean company, you get the quality you pay for, and I'm extremely happy. I plan to take care of these as instructed on the label, and look forward to wearing them for a long time to come. ... show more

  • Very fickle, but very comfortable!
I was a bit wary of these pants. Expensive, packed in a black bag, with a massive list of care instructions. Seriously, it probably qualifies as a short novel. You're supposed to wash them separately on delicate and keep them away from light and dry them flat in a dark room. Doesn't really mesh with my laundry routine. But, I got them to review, so I did as I was told. And lo and behold, these are the comfiest jeans I own. Yeah there are some weird choices in the name of fashion. Namely the button-up fly and the shallow front pockets. Still deep enough for my needs, but every once in a while I'll miss the depth. It barely fits my phone (about the size of a standard iPhone 11). I'm not sure I'll wear these often, but I do like them. So far I've washed them twice according to instructions, and while it emphasizes that the instructions will prolong the color and that it will eventually fade no matter what, I haven't noticed a ton of difference. But even if these jeans turn pure white I'll probably still find a way to make them work if they're still comfortable. ... show more

  • Great fit and comfort
These jeans are a dark grey/black color, and they fit me great. I have had Diesel products in the past, including jeans, but it's been a long time (probably at least 6 or 7 years), so I was interested to see how the quality of Diesel products is these days. It's never been an inexpensive brand, especially for the jeans, which are the signature products, and this pair is no exception. It's currently priced in the $130s, but the list price is closer to $200. The fabric on these is quite thin, and it has more stretch than one might expect given that the fabric is said to be 97% cotton and 3% elastane/spandex. This means they're very flexible and comfortable to wear. I suspect they'll be light weight enough to also be very comfortable in the summer. The jeans don't have different lengths available as some brands do, but the length is appropriate for most. I'm about 6ft tall, and my usual jean length is 32. These reach my shoes with a small amount of ruffled fabric at the bottom, but that seems to be the desired look. For men who are much shorter, it may be that these are too long, so hemming may be necessary. Some interesting things about these that may not be apparent from the product description: - Made in Tunisia; this didn't stand out as either positive or negative to me, but it was interesting as I don't believe I've ever had any garments made there before. - Although it's not indicated in the product description, the denim here is selvedge, which is worth researching if you don't know about it. It's higher quality than common denim and also more expensive. - The fly is a button fly, which is not my preference. This one doesn't bother me too much, but every time I reach for a zipper, I find buttons, which I don't love. This is probably a matter of personal preference. ... show more
