  • Good Jeans, Bad Quality Control
Size: 34W x 32L Color: Indigo Blue
I have bought many pairs of these Jeans and have always been satisfied with the cost vs. quality ratio. Given this, I re-ordered Jeans based solely on my last purchase. Never bothered to try them on until I needed them. When I finally did, they didn't fit, I mean, at all. Same waist, inseam, etc., only a few months between my previous purchase. Gave them to my son in laws, who both have the same waist as me and neither could button them. In the end, I ordered the next size up and shrank them down and that is what I am wearing. These are good jeans and I will most likely stick by them but, the Quality Control has a lot to be desired. If you're going to produce outside of the US and put an American name on a product, then at least ensure there is some quality control such as what you would have had, had it been made in USA. Made in Mexico. ... show more

  • These are the best jeans you can get, and they're usually pretty darn cheap.
Size: 36W x 29L Color: Stone Washed Indigo Blue
These are the best jeans you can get, and they're inexpensive to boot! I'm an old guy (61 now) and have worn 'Dad Jeans' for many years. The most comfortable jeans I've ever had out of the package were a pair from LLBean that felt like super soft cotton, but they were on sale and since have only been available at too high a price, and wearing them every day wore them out in short order. Dickies, on the other hand, may not be as soft out of the package, but get very, very comfortable within just a few washings and wear like iron! Since the first couple from a few years ago have bleach splash spots from cleaning stuff and yard and car (and motorcycle) stains at the knees, I now have 6 pair and wear them every day. Originally got stone washed for daily wear and indigo for a little more formal (in a jeans-sense) but have since found that indigo becomes a nice stone washed after a few months so now that's what I get and simply let them fade over time. If you don't need that magic stitching on the back pocket, but need jeans that will feel great and hold up over time, these are your jeans. edit 2/15/2017: still great jeans, just wanted to say I just checked and all of mine were made in Mexico. ... show more

  • Great jeans. Nice deep color. Accurate fit.
Size: 36W x 34L Color: Indigo Blue Rigid
This is my first pair of 5-pocket jeans I've purchased from Dickies. I typically wear 505s in 36x32 for everyday wear. I used to work construction and religiously wore the Carpenter Duck jeans in 36x34. I decided to order the Indigo Blue Rough in 36x34. When the jeans first arrived, they were very stiff and looked huge on me. Too wide in the waist and way too long in the length. But after a hot wash and high heat dry, they fit much better. The waist is perfect. I always wear a belt. Still about 1.5" too long but that's due to my error when ordering. Nothing a little hem can't fix. In the future, I'd probably order 36x32 instead of 36x34. I don't like having to worry about my jeans shrinking, so I always buy on the larger side and warm wash and high dry. Very nice color, nice deep dark indigo. Very similar to the 501 shrink-to-fit. The leg opening is about 1" wider than my 505s. Not as slim as my 505s, but definitely not in the baggy category. I'd definitely buy again. ... show more

  • Very tough jeans for $20.
Size: 34W x 30L Color: Indigo Blue
I purchased a pair of these jeans to see what a pair of Dickies are like. I wear them daily for my job and around the house for my weekend chores and they really are a tough pair of work jeans. I recommend these if you are tired of buying work pants that are either too expensive or of low quality, then give these a try. For under $20 you really have nothing to lose and you might be pleased with them as I am. As others have noted, they do run long in the leg and I'm assuming that is to compensate for large boots. Keep this in mind. ... show more

  • Odd fit but I like them
Size: 36W x 30L Color: Indigo Blue
Very nice jeans. They seem to run high even though the description says they run low. I am ordering an inch shorter next time, and maybe a size down. But for the price, they are great. The quality is not perfect, but more than enough for plain blue jeans. They run tight around the hips and thighs so the pockets are constrained. But they run wide and long. I still like them, I just wear them high. TL;DR order a size down in length and width ... show more

  • It's been nothing but Dickie's for me since 2006.
I started wearing Dickie's black work pants at a job I'd just started working at in 2006. They're practical, fit well on my frame, and are affordable. When I found their line of jeans and tried them, I got the same fit at pretty much the same low prices. So, I've got the fit and the price in a good pair of jeans, what more could I want? And today, after 13 years, a pair of Dickie's jeans can still be found for under $20. That's why nearly my entire wardrobe consists of, on average at any given moment, about 12 pairs of these jeans, in various sizes, and roughly 12 t-shirts, all of which are made by a single company, all have a crew collar, come in various colors, made of 100% cotton and seem to be made to fit someone with a similar frame to my own... they consistently fit well, and they're also affordable... coming in at just over $3 per t-shirt... but I'm not here to review the t-shirts, so I just won't mention the brand. Getting back to my review of these jeans, it may be difficult, or maybe not, to believe that in the years I've been buying Dickie's jeans or even work pants, I always purchased the pants with a waist size of either 30" or 32". I know that I've always been under the impression that the waists sized at 2" increments, the same as the length. I swear, this is the first pair of jeans I can remember, being offered with a waist size of 31"... and I have to stop and think.... why didn't I just buy the pants with a 31" waist?! And now, just as I typed that, I do remember wearing pants with a 29" waist... so, of course, why wouldn't they make a pair with a 31" waist. Have I been so blind to something that to everyone else is a well known fact? I think my whole outlook on Life and Affordable Fashion may have just encountered a major shift in perspective. Regardless of this shift in personal perspective, I must say, this pair of Dickie's jeans is a good value at a good price. ... show more

  • Great quality
Size: 34W x 32L Color: Indigo Blue
I purchased these for my son for work. They seem very durable. These are not the expensive jeans he would wear to go out, but he is happy to have these so his expensive jeans don't get ruined at work. He wears Dickies shorts for work in the summer and these are great for the cold weather. They seem more durable than the Dickies khakis. ... show more
