I’ve always like the Dickies work pants, these #874 style are more of a “Manger’s” or “Supervisor’s” style of slacks. They just have the regular 4 pockets and nothing extra. The other Dickies I’m familiar with are the ones that have the double layer knee areas for constant kneeling.     • Ability to order slacks to precise measurements
As a tall woman it is difficult for me to find slacks as women's sizes are like 12, 14, 16, etc. These slacks can be ordered to my precise measurements. In addition, men's wear seems to be sturdier and cost less than the equivalent items for women. They are sturdy and have lots of pockets (which women's slacks often do not). ... show more

Dickies have always been a little stiff at first but at this point I think it is normal and I’m a good way. My husband moves so much he wears out the legs in his pants from knee to mid thigh. These are the only pants that hold up and last the longest.

These pants fit well and are made well, and the ability to buy a 31" inseam is nice. The pants are just slightly snug, but acceptable. I bought the color blue, and it really shows the dust/dirt which can't be brushed off. One very specific issue: The belt loops are slightly small, and just barely accommodate my work belt. I typically tuck the extra length of the belt back into the first loop, but the loops are so small I can't do this. I end up walking around with the end of my belt hanging loose, so I probably won't buy these again. I'll go back to Carhartt. ... show more

Most people familiar with Dickies probably already know this, but I bought two pairs of the same size and color, one fits well and one does not. Probably common but it's my only complaint.
