Quality is great only issues I had with this shirt is the tag placement on the lower abdomen, I went to rip it out since its was super itchy within minutes of wearing it and its stiches so well into the fabric that I ripped all the stitching out leaving a 2 inch hole and now I can no longer wear the shirt anywhere other than around the house ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The “Dickies Men's Heavyweight Crew Neck Short Sleeve Tees” arrived promptly and were better than described online. They are actually luxurious in softness, comfort, thickness, weight and appearance. I chose three of these superior quality shirts as a gift for my grandson in college. These well-made shirts are manufactured in hard-to-find “Tall” sizes and are available in over 30 colors. My grandson is very thin and tall (6'4") and wears a Tall Large shirt. The short sleeve Tee shirts have several nice features. PROS: (No CONS observed). * High-quality short sleeve pocket Tee shirts have excellent materials and construction throughout. * Fabric is 100% heavyweight jersey-knit Cotton, pre-shrunk for excellent fit after washing and drying. * Pull-on shirt is comfortable to wear, especially in the hot, summer months. 100% natural Cotton fiber is well-known among clothing and fiber artists for its soft and smooth fine hand, durability and breathability. * Excellent construction and attention to detail - tag less labeling for comfort; long tail for active physical work accommodates both tucked-in-or-out styles. All seams are perfectly flat and double stitched; neck and shoulder seams are reinforced with taping that prevents stretching; all sewing is done in an extremely professional manner for strength, comfort and durability. * Traditional chest pocket with separate pen or pencil slot is neatly sewn and blends into the shirt so inconspicuously that I didn't notice it until I took the close-up photos! * Stylish Tee can be worn alone or as a complementary undershirt. * Easy care shirts are machine washable and dry able. If you are big AND tall, make sure Amazon sends you the correct shirt. I've ordered several of these Dickies shirts, and about every other order, Amazon sends me 1 or more of the wrong size. The most common mistake is they send me a "3XL" instead of the "3XLT" I ordered. If it doesn't have the "T", it isn't a tall shirt! Check every shirt you order. I've had orders where some were correct and others were wrong. I've even had two shirts of the same color in the same order where 1 will be a tall and other other won't. Amazon customer service tells me they are sending in requests for the warehouse to check stock, but I still get the wrong shirts. The difference between tall and regular is 2-3" and for me makes the difference between being able to tuck the shirt in or not. Overall, I'd give the shirts 4.75 stars. They seem to be very well constructed. Based on how thin some other shirts I’ve bought are, these could easily be considered heavy fabric. The actual thickness of the fabric varies a bit between different colors. I am both big and tall, so it is unheard for me to find good T's for $8-12/ea. There is a paper label around waist high which you will want to cut off, it rustles. The label on the back of the neck is printed on the shirt, so nothing to rustle or scratch there. Content: Of the shirts I have, content varies by color. 100% cotton - Chocolate, Dark Navy, Dark Olive, English Red, Heather Green, Lincoln Green, Orange, Royal Blue. 99% cotton, 1% polyester - Ash Grey 90% cotton, 10% polyester - Heather Grey Made in: Nicaragua and Mexico. There is a slight variation in the cuts of the different colored shirts. Some are a little roomier than others. The label recommends washing in cold. I HIGHLY recommend washing in cold. The shirts tend to shrink a little the first couple times they are washed. I always wash mine in cold and hang them up to dry, but still had that little bit of shrinkage. The most comfortable: Dark Navy and Black Olive. They started out very roomy and even after a bit of shrinkage are still quite comfortable. Chocolate and Lincoln Green just barely still fit. Desert Sand started out ok, but after two washings it had shrunk enough that it is a little small. I find I'm yanking on it to stretch it. Don't take the Amazon listing picture colors too seriously. I've included a pic of the actual shirts. Chocolate and Dark Olive appear lighter in my photo than they do in person. Dec 2025 update: I still love these shirts and think they are an outstanding value (especial for big and tall folks). A slight issue for me is that the latest orange shirts I ordered were no longer 100% cotton. They were a 50/50 cotton/poly blend. I prefer 100% cotton. But I still love these Dickies and just hope they're not switching all of them to 50/50. ... show more
