Bought these light weight pants to keep bugs from biting me while I work in the garden. I assumed I would pretty much destroy them, buying them with that expectation. I have abused these pants quite a bit. I tromp in the mud in them, cover them in bug repellent, weed in them and sprayed wood sealer on my fence in them. The first time I "washed" these pants they were soaked to the knee in mud, and the mud was ground into the hem. I tossed the pants over the clothes line and hosed them off as they were to muddy to stick in the washer. I had a pistol style spray nozzle, and turned the water on them, All the mud except for the ground in hem just washed away. I then took the spray nozzle and placed it directly on the hems and sprayed again. This time all the mud in the hems washed out. These pants run a little big. and they are a bit baggy, You are not going to look sexy in them, but if you want a good sturdy comfortable light weight work pants, these are good. Reason for Purchase: I'm working as stage crew for a musical in a historic theater (no air conditioning). As crew, I needed pants that were built tough, easy to move in, and easy to clean. To avoid melting backstage, I also needed them to be breathable and light weight. And finally, I needed my pants to have real pockets (not always a given for women's clothing). Enter these Dickies Cargo Pant Scrubs. My Stats: Height: 5'7 Usual Pant Size: 3x (24 women's) Size Purchased: 3x Pros: -Sturdy construction -Easy to wash/dry -Easy to move in (while standing) -Fabric breathes well -Large pockets -Secure drawstring waist -Comfortable Cons: -Way too long (I'm 5'7 and purchased the regular length, but these pants drag on the ground by at least an inch when I wear them) -Waist runs large (these were looser than expected, but the drawstring helps) -Tight in the hips and thighs when sitting (note: other reviews say that fabric will relax over time) -Attracts pet hair Overall: These are a good pair of scrub pants that combine the sturdiness (and pockets) I need while working crew with the light, breathable fabric I need to avoid being a heat casualty backstage. However these tend to run very long (regular length has a 33.5 inch inseam), and I find they must be cuffed or pinned to avoid dragging on the ground. I usually see inseams that length in pants designed to be worn with heels, and I don't know anyone sporting scrubs with stilettos. ... show more

Ordered med tall 5-10 185lbs. Fit well, except some extra fabric in the front puckering, and front feels higher than back, if you have a booty that would be more prominent. I’m a bigger gal (5’9”, 300#, 4X) and these pants are great. Super comfortable, just the right amount of stretch, and after a couple of months still holding up well. They are a bit big, but the drawstrings hold them up just fine. Will be buying more!

    • Not a good choice for pear shaped figures

I'm 5'2" with 24" thighs, 38" hips, and 28" waist. First of all I want to say that the size chart is incredibly unhelpful. It's in numeric sizes while the product is not. Normally I would consider myself a small petite size, but based on the reviews of similar sized people I decided to order down one size to xs petite. They appear to run one size large. These pants are a bit snug and restrictive in the thigh, fit comfortably in the hip, and are too large at the waist -- basically the way all pants fit for with my body type. The fabric has no stretch to it. It's not especially soft but not especial rough either. The length of the inseam is is good for my leg length, hitting just above the ground. The leg style is similar to bootcut, but with a wider flare. The waist style is low rise, sitting a couple inches below my navel. The drawstring is rather inadequate and doesn't tighten enough to keep them higher than that. Bending over does show some butt crack. They don't look very flattering on me, and they're not comfortable either. And to top it off, the stitching is already starting to come undone after only a couple weeks of wear. ... show more
