Description

Using regular tap water, wet the vehicle and then wash with your preferred soap. After washing, rinse the vehicle with regular tap water to remove all of the soap. Use the included orange comfort grip spray nozzle to mist the entire surface of the vehicle with the spot free water. Each resin cartridge removes dissolved solids from the water. The cleaner your supply water, the more spot-free gallons you can produce before replacing the cartridges. The mixed bed resin changes from a dark blue to tan color when exhausted. This is a convenient way to know when it's time to replace the cartridges. The design includes two O-rings per canister to ensure a leak-free experience. Hand tightening is usually all that is necessary, but if you need to tighten a little extra, we include a wrench.

This is the cheat code!!!! What I hate the most about washing my cars is drying them especially when it’s hot out because it’s a battle against time and the sun tryin to prevent water spots. At my house especially the sun raises and sets directly over my house. I almost never have any shade. Saw this for $100 and was like why not and it’s delivered better results than o expected. Today was the first time using it so we will see how long these filters last. I also didn’t use any of the provided house kit because it was super tiny and felt cheap but mainly because I couldn’t use it with my giraffe tools wall mounted pressure washer so I bought my own houses and fittings and splitters and made it work. One thing I was worried about is the gallons per min gpm. Because with this set up it can have to high of a gpm other wise it won’t filter correctly and since I upped the hose sizes I was worried I would t get top results. But it worked perfectly!! Couldn’t asked for better results. Sooo for the money and the results you can’t beat it. Even if I only get 3 washes per filter change that’s fine with me. Do yours favor and get this if you’re tired of water spots on your car that you just spent 30 min washing. Set up couldn’t be easier. ... show more

The good is that it works well. Used a dozen times and definitely helps get rid of the minerals in the water. I have a black car and believe me the water spots show up. I still blow dry it off and spot dry with an Absorber synthetic chamois but it makes it so much easier. The bad is that the cheap hose, sprayer, and connectors are really cheap. The sprayer is hard to use, the connectors become disconnected and shoot water everywhere, and they are hard to connect properly. ... show more

The installation and setup were quite easy and the assmbly seems to be well-made of sturdy materials. But take care not to insert the cartridge into the canister the wrong way, as it can be a bit difficult to remove. Quite happy it had a long length of hose, which is in part why I chose this kit. I placed mine just inside my garage door, and I had enough hose to connect to my supply point and reach the rear of my car while it is parked in the driveway. I have moderately hard water, and I checked the TDS of the water from the filters, and it registered between zero and 8 during several checks. My water runs between 160 and 200 TDS, so it does quite well at least with new, fresh cartridges. I got this as much to avoid spots as to make sure I protected my car, which has a full aluminum body and frame. DI water is what is used to clean aircraft and is part of doing good corrosion control, which is very important for aircraft. ... show more
