The sst6 was comfortable comes with 2 soles. I have bowled with old shoes for 10 years and just switched back to Dexter. 1 month of leagues and practice and everything is good on them.

I wear a 9.5 wide redwing boot. But decided to go with a 10 regular. Definitely go up a half of a size from a boot and a down a half of a regular shoe size. Extra width was not necessary at all. Love these shoes. Lightweight but not mesh. love the leather slide heel. And obviously the boa system is the best part. Not having to adjust my shoes after each game is great. Only complaint which is not enough to take a star away, would be the boa being on the back instead of tongue or side. Only because you can't be lazy and slide the shoe off by just stepping on the back with the opposite foot without relocking it. But overall great shoes very comfortable.     • I like this lightweight shoe a lot.
I just recently purchased these shoes when I saw someone in my bowling center wearing them. I liked the "croc" version of these shoes, but didn't like the color changing version. So I bought the "stealth" version of these shoes. The uppers are a very light stretchable nylon (or whatever material) that is vented, which means your foot feels good wearing them. The T.H.E 9 series is a shoe that the professional bowlers wear, and after wearing them, they are very comfortable, (I liked the raised heel) and the slide is just right for my game. I don't have a long slide, so the pads that came with the shoe worked just fine. I'm a league bowler, and see some guys wearing different versions of this shoe. I will get some plastic shoe trees and some "sneaker balls" because I will keep them in my bag, and don't want them to either stink, and I want them to keep form since the uppers are very lightweight. The only reason why I am giving them four stars is because when I received the shoes, I only received one shoe cover. I am trying to contact Dexter to rectify the situation, but haven't heard from them. I have some old shoe covers to protect them when I'm off the lanes, or to store them in my bag. Otherwise, I'm satisfied with my purchase, since I like quality shoes, and will pay the premium price for something I will use for a great deal of time. Dexter is a quality brand, and I know they will hold. My SST 8's held up for many years, and I was ready to purchase a new pair, I went with the T.H.E. 9's. ... show more

Best bowling shoes I have ever used, and I have used a few others. Easy to put on and remove for this old guy. I was able to get a good slide with supplied soles and heels. Very comfy and supportive. I am very satisfied and I would definitely recommend these shoes.
