Description

The DCCF887 20V MAX XR 1/4-inch 3-Speed Impact Driver delivers up to 1825 in- lb of torque in a compact design of just 5.3 inches front to back. The multi- speed settings increase productivity in a wide variety of applications. Precision Drive in speed 1 provides added control by helping to prevent over- tightening and fastener damage. This kit comes with a DCB205 20V MAX Battery (5.0 Ah), and charger.

I purchased this to use on the stabilizers on my PopUp Camper. Great time saver! I can lower/raise the stabilizers in second in stead of minutes. Getting older so a back saver too. Only downfall is the noise, kind of like being in the pits at a Nascar race while changing tires. Not the fault of the drill, just the nature of the beast. I've now bought several of these, with this unit purchased thru Amazon, and previous buys thru the orange big box store. The DeWalt impact drivers are the best on the market. Only step up to the 888 model if you're in a large team and need the Bluetooth connect feature for tracking. In terms of power, the 887 is exactly the same product as 888. The 887 and 888 are both MAX XR Brushless for long runtime on battery, with matching torque, speed selectors, etc. I often use these impact drivers interchangeably with drills, as both tools can perform many of the same functions. My first impact driver and very happy with this Dewalt product! Used for farm fence upgrade and both battery and driver worked great! Used a little liquid wrench a couple days before job on old bolt/nuts and everything came apart nicely! Fastening new boards was a cinch too!
