This tool is a bit taller and a bit heavier than an air-driven impact wrench. Having said that, neither of these things have impeded me in any use of the tool I have attempted. And it is a brute. I have not encountered any fastener I could reach with an air-driven gun that I could not also reach with this one, and it has EFFORTLESSLY removed them all. The performance of this tool is equal to/better than any air-driven impact wrench I have used, and the fact that it does not require a hose and compressor is a huge convenience. Battery performance is very good. In my personal use of the tool as a DIY auto mechanic, I have yet to experience any need to switch out batteries in the middle of a job. The clever location of the work light greatly enhances its usefulness. As noted by the title of my review, if someone stole this tool from me I would not hesitate for an instant to buy another. The only issue I have encountered has been with the occasional inadvertent reversal of the tool's rotation direction. This is done by means of a button behind the trigger, identical to the system DeWalt uses on its cordless drills. And once or twice I have bumped it without knowing that I had until I pulled the trigger. No biggie. As I have said, I'd buy this tool again. ... show more

Used to remove the wheels of of my truck and the removal of my mowers blades. Worked like a champ. It saved me a lot of time. I do recommend in investing in impact sockets, because it will damage standard ones on heavily torqued nuts.

I travel a lot and pull trailers, I carry this with me on trips and have used it several times to change a flat tire. My trailers have multiple axels and tires, I drive up the trailer on wood blocks and zip, zip use the impact gun and done in 5 minuets, its crazy quick and has a ton of power been using it on the farm, fixing stuff in the field saves so much time. In the relatively short time I’ve had this tool, I haven’t found a nut or a bolt that it will not remove yet. Everything from wheel lug nuts, to a harmonic balancer bolt, to leaf spring u-bolt nuts, this tool will take them all off, with little effort.
