Like a hot knife through butter!
Single trigger pull slices through 2 inch, Schedule 40 PVC! This awesome tool can be used EXACTLY like standard PVC cutters - the blade only moves when the trigger is pulled - blade stops when trigger is released! Cuts are ALWAYS as straight as the pipe is in the jaw. Works ok pipe needs to be warm
Works ok as long as pipe is warm other wise it shoots pipe out and leaves a broken edge

I'm a cordless Dewalt guy. I'm a handyman "diy'er". These are great and powerful, but the weight of them is a little much! I went back and forth for several days debating wether to keep them or not for my irrigation business. I finally said why not since i have it. So I used them. You have to pay attention to your setting and make sure the pipe lays in the trough correctly. I've yet to have a pipe shoot out. It will power through and break old pipe though. Use with caution. Just so you know, I have all cordless tools like the miter saw and roller stand, table saw and roller stand, circular saw, jig saw, oscillator tool, angle grinder, die grinder, router, planer, framing nailer, brad nailer, staple nailer, caulk gun, heat gun, shop vac, hood light, spot light, regular light, hammer drill, impact driver, screw driver, and all the outdoor cordless lawn equipment as well. ... show more
