Bought this Dewalt vacuum to clean my interior of pontoon boat. But i love it so much for quick pickups in the house, i might have to buy another. Even the cat has learned not to be scared of the noise it makes while running. I DO RECOMMEND this vacuum. It's way better than a dustbuster.

The circuit board failed on my 3 year old and one month (!) vacuum. This has been by far the best portable "dust buster" like vacuum I've owned, so even though it failed only a month out of warranty , I bought another one. Too bad the part that failed is hard to figure out the failure point versus just a bad switch or motor. The great part of this is how strong the suction is, the removable wand, and the ease of cleaning the debris out of it. I use a shop vac to suck out the dirt and clean the filter. Would have liked to give it 5 starts, but it did break on me..... ... show more

I install blinds and this is perfect for cleaning up any dust created from drilling in the walls. It picks up the fine particles as well as some larger pieces. I use this for at least 20 minutes at a time and a battery lasts more than a few days worth of work. Not only does this work well for construction like jobs it also is great and convenient for cleaning out your car without having to park it close to a power source to plug in your vacuum. ... show more

I do hvac, and installing any unit inside the apartment or house gets messy, so having a compact vacuum is definitely helpful. I've put in 2x up to 5x batteries and they've all fit without issue, I have yet to try the 6x battery in it though. I get what other people are saying where the intake could be a little more powerful but hey, it beats having to haul around those huge round vacuums that take up a ton of space in the truck and work area. Ive also read that people dislike that the hose isnt that maneuverable and only has about a foot or two of play, but the whole point of this thing is its compactness so id say you can cut it a little slack on that. The little filter in it is fairly easy to clean, I'm pretty certain they're washable but I usually just give it a couple good wacks on the floor and all the dust and other junk comes out and it makes the filter look good as new again. Overall for the price, I'd say this is definitely worth the money and I would definitely recommend this to other workers.. (just make sure you write your name on it and all that, hate to say it but I'm sure other people would love to take this off you) ... show more

Hands down the best small portable vacuum we've ever had. Love that the battery pack fits every other DeWalt item we have. Good suction, the hose easily disconnects from the front, works on all types of surfaces. More powerful than some battery powered vacuums we've used. This new Dewalt mini vac is the best. I've paid more and gotten less many times. This guy may be a bit big, but it it eats dog hair, and anything else around my house. Plus the Dewalt batteries last...a long time! It's the best. Buy it!

I bought this in 2019 and it has not let me down. It is great for the car and small jobs around the house and with attachments for the hose you can take care of anything. Some have stated that the hose comes lose, mine did too so I applied some contact cement and threaded it back in and it hasn't come lose since. Overall this is a great deal. ... show more
