Great item! Picks up a wide array of sheet goods. I’ve had success with drywall/sheetrock, plywood (1/4”, 1/2”, and 3/4”), and even solid wood (planed and smooth). Easy to use. I’ve dropped it on accident a few times onto concrete with no issues to the tool itself so it is extremely durable. The suction is great but with some more porous materials, you have to give it a bit of a trial lift before actually lifting. The tool itself can get heavy over time, but the extra handle that it gives you on a sheet good is probably worth it. If you’re getting it for a specific project, maybe try to get away with a cheaper plastic sheet goods carrier, but if you do sheet goods regularly, this is the one to go with. ... show more

Fantastic product! Been lifting 4x8 sheets of plywood and melamine from a flat surface to vertical, and to help lower them down onto a flat surface when carrying from the truck bed. Also supported large solid manufactured stone panels for a new shower about 80" x 36" - very heavy, and it never slipped. It stayed solid the whole time from lift, to carrying, to placing them on the bathroom walls. Also used to move heavy dressers. Easier to grab this tool than to lift from the drawer openings or bottom! Holds for a long time and I never worry about them slipping or releasing. ... show more

I don't normally write reviews, but I have to tell you this product works great. We have a marble patio that has 16x24 pavers with a leather finish. They are 1" thick and heavy. It's been a few years so some of the pavers have settled and I took on the project of re-leveling everything. I messed with three types of suction cups from the cheap to the hand pump types that were over a hundred bucks. The biggest part of the project was trying to get the suction cups to stick to the textured finish. I decided to try the Dewalt but was skeptical because of some of the negative reviews. Bottom line.....push the button and it worked every time. Period. The only issue was one that was pointed out in some of the reviews. The buttons would stick if any sand or debris got on them. This was irritating as I had to disassemble the unit twice to clean them. I correct this using a little home engineering. See photo. Worked like a charm after the fix. Dewalt needs to put some heavier springs in this unit. ... show more

I was very excited about this thing since I have a bad back and a handle would make lifting sheet goods a lot easier. It seems like dewalt’s quality control is lacking. I bought two of these, and they both ran up to about 10 psi of suction on a sheet of plastic and would not turn off. Looking a YouTube videos they should run up to 12 psi and turn off. I suspect the vacuum needs to be calibrated and they are actually at 12 psi based on some of the original Grabo instructions I looked at online, but there is no way to do that. Dewalt support wasn’t helpful either. I own 7 or 8 other cordless dewalt tools and generally think they make great stuff. I hope they get this one right because it would be a nice addition to their line. ... show more

Everything seems fine with this device except for the release button. It’s difficult to use, and dirt can easily accumulate around it, preventing it from functioning properly.
