Installed on a 2004 Ford F-250 Super Duty. After install I pulled a 8,000lb camper 5k miles and now have put another 8k miles on the truck. No issues so far. I know these are not OE parts etc. but they are holding up so far and were an easy install for a long-time garage mechanic. Came in one big box all parts wrapped and included.

Fit a 2000 Ford F250 just fine. All joints are grease-able, the way things ought to be built (and used to be). Promptly drove it across country with no issues. Replaces every wobbly steering joint that can cause steering slop except for the steering rack/gearbox itself.

Definitely feels cheap. Of course it’s one ton truck parts so there is good weight to it. Painted threads were and issue, didn’t come with nearly enough grease fittings and grease fittings were so bad I had to buy an assorted box to get some quality ones. It is a cheap kit so I understand it won’t be very high grade but it felt like an entry level junk kit that won’t last more than a few months.

Pats all fit but seemed slightly different than the oem. No complaints on performance, though. Originally missing half the parts but was handled quickly by Detroit axle. 2000 excursion 4x4 for reference.

For a non-mechanic, it took a little to figure it out but we got it done! A few rented tools from the autopart store, and it was done in a day. If you are a mechanic, I am sure its a breeze. Our truck is perfect again! Love Detroit Axle!
