  • Hub install worked perfect.
Would order from supplier again, good job.

  • Fit perfectly with the Hub Accuator i purchased also.
So far so good, I installed a set on my 2012 Ford F150 over the weekend. You can find a video on You Tube about it. Not by me, but another guy. It is not as easy as it looks, but it is possible with the right tools. One word of advise, the connector for the anti-lock brake sensor is a bit of work. You have to push the red tab up, then you pry the inside black plastic piece up a little to get the connector out. Be careful, I broke one of the red tabs, they are brittle. But after 111,000 miles on the originals it was to be expected. I will try and update a review after I break in the bearing, but so far the noise that sounded like I was running on an unbalanced tire and the metal grinding are both gone. So, good luck if you are doing it yourself. Put lots of grease in there, it will help keep the water out. ... show more

  • So far, so good.
I purchased this Detroit Axel hub/bearing based on a friend’s positive experience. We’re both 15-20k miles per year drivers. He’s had his for a year. Only a month for me, but so far, flawless on both accounts.

  • Great product for the money
Looks identical to the factory hub. Installed like the factory hub. It has been running for a few months with no issues. Great value for the money so far. I have purchased several Detroit Axle products and have not been disappointed yet.

  • Axle cap did not fit
No issues at all with the performance of this hub. My 2013 Ford F150 OEM alxe nut cap did NOT fit this hub, the cap was to small. This hub DOES NOT come with a cap,, you must reuse the one from your vehicle.. I called into Detroit Axle and spoke to a nice lady about this but they were of no help and had no answer why my OEM cap was to small. I ended up having to wrap the cap in a few layers of Teflon tape to get the cap to seat in the hub. ... show more

  • So Far not so good....25k and bad
I have a few hundred miles on this wheel bearing and it is doing good so far. The install process was easy enough and the axle nut cap fit perfectly on mine. The CV axle mounted up as it should it with no issues. My 2x4 works so it seals well enough to keep vacuum when the truck is on and disengaging the cv axle from the hub. Only thing I don't know is if it will last but I guess I will find out. 5 stars for now but will update if there is any issues. Update 1-14-20 I now have a vibration that has started at 65+ mph. It is a howl/vibration that sounds exactly like a wheel bearing.. I don't want to have to go buy a factory wheel bearing because they cost a lot more than these ones but if they last longer I might have to. I am still gonna run this and see what happens. Dropped it a star because of this. Will update later on. Update 1-30-20 The vibration is still there but is happening less and more random when it does it. I can start to feel it start around 55 mph and sometimes gets worse or sometime goes away. So overall it could be related to this or it could not be. Overall I am still happy with this wheel bearing. Update 4/15/20 I have around 6-8k miles on this wheel bearing. It is still working well with no more weird noises. I am happy with it so far hopefully it keeps on working for a while. Update 7/19/20 I have around 15k on this wheel bearing now and it is going good still. Vibration is gone so it must not have been related to this. I have lifted up the front to check on this wheel bearing multiple times and there is no play. I am happy with this wheel bearing. Will be buying another one when my otherside goes out. 9/15/20- 2 more months and another 3k miles. This thing is still rocking strong. No noise and no play. I am happy with it. 2/28/21 - 5 Months later and 8k more miles this wheel bearing has started to have some play. Not bad enough to replace but won't be taking it on any long trips. Going to get a hold of detroit axle and see if I can get a warranty replacement. So this wheel bearing lasted a little over 1 year and probably 25k miles total. Update with warranty replacement attempt: So I contacted detroit axle and they where happy to send a replacement part after I payed for shipping which would of cost $45!! That is half the price of the part and I should not have to pay for shipping when it is there part that failed in the first place. Very unhappy with them as a company and will not be buying anything more from them. They should put that right on there warranty information on there website. (We will send you a part after we bend you over on shipping charges). That is complete trash for them to do that. ... show more
