I was told Detroit axles are the best so I bought me some news ones. They were packaged very well and went in like nothing. At one point one of the cv axlecs cap popped out and Grease was everywhere but I believe I may I hit it causing it to punch out. Easy fix. Tap it back in with a mallot and looks perfect rides perfect ... show more

First of all, Detroit axle sent me a kit with a Hub bearing missing after they sent me the extra hub bearing that was missing.It failed on me after 3 months.Now.They want to send me another one and charge me $35 for shipping this product .. why do I have to keep coming out of the pocket for this product. Bought this set in Feb of 2022. Installed them a couple of days later. Now, a little over 3 years and approx 37000 miles later, they are worn out. I’m sure they should’ve held up better. After visiting a few Chevy Truck forums it seems most other ppl have gotten 65000-90000 miles from their replacement axles and hubs from various manufacturers. Well I need to replace mine again. I won’t be buying them from Detroit axle. ... show more
