Ordering parts can be tricky when there are so many manufacturing dates that can change what parts you specifically need. I was skeptical when choosing which suspension parts kit would actually work for my 2001 Ford Sport Track but I am so glad I chose Detroit Axle. EVERYTHING matched and fit nicely. It was packaged well and organized. All of the parts are quite heavy and good quality. It was a big job for me to do at home in my driveway and having all the correct, high quality suspension components made the job much easier. The price was absolutely a value deal considering the quality of the. Many suspension kits are much more expensive for the same thing. My truck is now sitting on pretty on a strong, stable suspension. I would buy parts from Detroit Axle again for all my vehicles.

So far so good. Im still in the middle of installing while writing this so will edit if it changed. Everything fit like OEM and was exactly like OEM. Very good quality and strong. Issues so far is 1 grease fitting was FUBAR so will have to order a kit. The passenger side only comes with the outer upper control arm (2 piece) so you will need to order the upper inner control arm bushings. If wasnt for this it would have 5 star.

The parts are awesome and weren't great, however I can't say as much for Detroit Axle because I contacted them a couple months after I got the part because when I opened it up the sway bar hangers we're in the Box and ask them if they could send them to me and they said no. So when I go to do my other truck I'll buy them from somebody else. The company as big as Detroit Axle the neglected to put in the cheapest two parts in the Box will not make it good and send them to me can kiss my ass.

The products are not the problem.Detroit Axle's order pullers and/or shippers are all screwed up.Ordered a twelve piece kit for the front end of my 1500 Express Van.It was supposed to include:upper control arms,lower control arms L&R(these are large pieces),inner tie rods,outer tie rods,rack bellows boots,and stabilizer links.I also ordered shocks for the front in the same order.They sent all but the L&R lower control arms.I sent a message to them about missing items.They asked to see pictures of what was sent.I sent pics,stating that there was no way that the lower control arms would have fit in the box.Impossible.I got no reply for days and days,so I returned the items I had received.In the meantime,I ordered another kit in the hope to get my work truck back on the road.Well,all the parts show up in the second order,except the outer tie rods.Yet another screwed up order!. Two days later one outer tie rod shows up,along with the missing upper and lower control arms from the previous order!What the heck?I had not had time to contact them about it,but seeing as one showed up maybe there was another en route.Not as of now.They accepted my return for the first order,but charged me for the restocking fee,shipping,and some other charge.All said and done,I am out an extra $200 plus dollars,I have two extra L&R lower control arms,and am short one outer tie rod.This is ALL none of my fault.All they had to do is email me the status of their making good on the order,but I got ghosted.Charging me for their screw up...TWICE!! I have a good mind to return it all and file a grievance through Amazon,but I am leery of tying up my money with this company once again.DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY ***DETROIT AXLE***. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ORDER FULFILLMENT.THE ONE STAR IS FOR THE QUALITY OF THE PARTS ONLY!***UPDATE 9/23/2022***I HAD TO CALL DETROIT AXLE DIRECTLY TO ATTEMPT TO STRAIGHTEN OUT THE ORDER.THEY FINALLY AGREED TO SEND A CALL TAG FOR THEIR WRONG PARTS AND SEND OUT CORRECT CONTROL ARM AND MISSING TIE ROD.I RECEIVED THE CORRECT ARM,BUT TIE ROD WAS MISSING FROM BOX;BOX WAS SLIGHTLY DAMAGED.I CALLED IMMEDIATELY TO TELL THEM.GOT THE SAME OLD ROUTINE ON HOLD FOR 10 MINUTES OR MORE,THEN STORY OF NEEDING PICTURES OF BOXES AND MISSING PARTS(HOW DOES ONE TAKE A PIC OF SOMETHING THAT IS MISSING?!). FINALLY GOT FED UP WASTING TIME AND ENERGY ON A $15 TIE ROD. WE WILL NEVER ORDER FROM DETROIT AXLE AGAIN.WE NEEDED TO REPAIR THE WORK VAN A MONTH AGO,HAD THE TIME TO DO REPAIRS THEN,BUT ORDER TOOK OVER THIRTY DAYS TO GET ALMOST RIGHT. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE OVERALL EXPERIENCE. I SHOULD HAVE GUESSED THAT SINCE THE CITY OF DETROIT WENT BANKRUPT AROUND 2OO8 AND HAD TO BE BAILED OUT THAT THINGS WOULD BE CORRUPTED GOING FORWARD.A 3RD RATE OPERATION WITH THIRD RATE WAREHOUSE STAFF.

For the price and quality, you just can beat this set by Detroit Axle. I needed a set for a good price for a 2004 Jeep Liberty Sport 4x4 V6 3.7L. This seemed to fit that bill. I picked it up from Amazon for $109 and some change plus free shipping but NO 2 day Prime as an option. It came shipped in a heavy cardboard box with plastic ties to keep the box from opening during shipping. Inside, each piece was wrapped in plastic and there was bubblewrap on the top and bottom of the box. The upper control arm bushing, had a hard plastic protector over the bushing for protection during shipping. Each piece seems heavy duty and manufactured to specifications for my particular vehicle. Everything fit without an issue. The lower ball joint bushing are prefilled with grease and there is NOT a nipple to add more grease. It is a solid structure without that option to add a zerk grease fitting. There are new nuts for the upper control arm bushing, lower ball joints, and tie rods. There are NOT nuts and washer for the sway bar control links. So, your old ones must be reused or new ones must be bought. There are NOT nuts and bolts for upper control arms for attachment in the engine compartment, so retain your old ones or buy new ones. Also, there are NOT clamps included for the tie rod boots as puctured so new ones must be bought. I temporary used zip ties. A grease pack comes with tie rods. Be sure to lube the outside of the ball joint before installation. Torque specs can be obtained online from various websites. Check for validation. Detroit Axle offers free shipping through Amazon but not Prime. So, it took about a week to ship, so plan accordingly. Overall, I am completely satisfied with this set for its quality, price, fitting. I would buy from this company again.
