  • Sea specs are always great for the money.
Seaspecs are always great for the money when doing a sport that involves many many high speed wipeouts. I think i took this pair surfing for 2 weeks and kiteboarding for 1, all salt water. Mirror started to rub off after first week. looks completely rubbed off after 3 weeks aside from rim. BUT still functions like a normal brown glass pair. But at the price who cares. Still a useful tool. It floats. Brighter frame glasses are easy to find back in the surf. BUT darker frame glasses prevent rim glare when wearing. I have a big head. The normal size ones are a bit tight. These feel great but did fall off more (only on BIG WIPEOUTS). I am 59cm circumference where the glasses sit with lots of thick hair. I have to since hard. minimal glacier glasses like fit on the sides. Where as, normal sea specs are flush with my temples. ... show more

  • Great concept, poor execution
Had to buy three different frames from seaspecs to get the fit right, even then it isn't great A few months in and the lens is starting to delaminate. They stay on your face extremely well, even in the worst of tumbles, drain well too They just need to up quality of lenses and work on the fit and it will be a real winner ... show more

  • Great for surfing
I have a round face and these fit great. These are light and the strap is super easy to adjust for putting on and taking off. Ocean is even more beautiful w/ the Polarized lenses. Blocks the splashes and stays on through minor wipe out ( haven’t put myself through big wipeout yet and don’t plan on it). No need to wipe the lenses after emerging from the wipe out because water won’t stick to the lenses so can see just fine. Having these on actually help my sunscreen to stay on the face too because I won’t have to wipe splashes off my face as much. Totally worth it. I’m getting a surf hat to block the sun from above! ... show more
