Not stiff denim and a bit thin, but so comfortable. Good amount of stretch. I have ZERO butt, ordered a size 13 as I run between 10-12 in big box stores. Should have ordered 11, as a matter of fact they were still so good I ordered another pair a size smaller. I will keep the 13 and wear a belt. Only warning is the inseam length. I am 5'6" and I wish they were about an inch longer. That is it. I don't wear heels so they are perfect but if you are 5'5" or taller and want to wear with heels or heeled boots I would pass.

First of all, let me say, that I am pretty hard core when it comes to reviewing items and do not give high ratings very often at all. I would give these more than 5 stars if possible. I have a really, really, really hard time finding jeans to fit me. I have very skinny legs and am only 5'1" and basically have no butt or hips. Based on reviews I read, I decided to take a chance and order online. Amazon has such a nice return system, I figured it would be no big deal to return if needed. I purchased a size 11 and they are awesome. They are slim fit through the hips and thigh and then flare out from the knee down. They are a true bootcut, not bell bottom, which is what I was looking for. I normally wear Medium, 8-10. I will be ordering some more of these since it is so hard to find jeans to fit. They are lighter weight than a true Levi's type jeans and they do have a little stretch. They are very long and I will have to hem them, but I have to do that to every single pair of pants that I buy, so no big deal. If you are on the fence about ordering, just do it. You will not be disappointed.

I am short at 5' 2" & in height & approx. 120lbs in weight. (I like a 31" inseam) So, I buy a 32" inseam & hem an inch, if needed, after washing in hot water! I've never owned a pair of wax jeans before? Now they fit nicely in the hips to the knee's, are approx. 1/2-1" too long wearing tennis shoes. & I have extra room in the waist. But not bad at all. (Basically, in the back when sitting) The Waist line sits just below my belly button when standing. They are at the belly button when sitting! Back of pants don't go too low to show anything, if wearing hipsters. They feel a little strange against my thighs. But I have skin graph scars, on the top of my thighs, where I noticed the weird feeling, when wearing these. But I haven't wore them all day yet, to know if they will cause me any skin rashes problems or not? I've never had any jeans cause me a rash before. So, we'll see? I don't think if I were to order a size 3, that they would have fit me? Unless washed in cold all of the time. (As directed.) I think. LOL! The color is a very nice dark blue:) Wearing with boots or sandals with some small height, are perfect. They may show the top crease of the boot, but will go over the boots. I've grown to love these jeans bc they hold their color well & are comfortable to wear after a few washes! They still look new, when I wear them. Happy they hold their color well! Ready to buy another pair!

I love these jeans and so wish they had them in white and true black too. I love how they are stretchy and fit from the knees up like a glove, yet boot cut legs from the knee down! Warning: I am 5'4" and the size 5 fits me perfectly in the light blue, but I need a size 7 to fit in the dark blue (so be prepared - the sizing across colors is inconsistent. Also black is not true black -- more like a dark charcoal and don't look much different than the dark blue. Love the price and the fact that all are sold long. It's easy to custom shorten them by hand to your perfect length. The zipper in front is shorter than usual - does not come down as far as some jeans, but not a big deal. My weight fluctuates from 115 to 125 pounds but they are so stretchy that they still fit nicely! I used to pay $100 to have a custom pair of jeans made, but this stretchy material allows for weight variation with still a nice snug fit. Really wish they had these in white and true black too!
