  • If your like me..buy them! They work.
I love my Tacoma. Best truck on the road. The seat position sucks!!!! Just a fact. Sorry Toyota. Searched for things to improve the ride (washers, spacers, etc.) They all looked awful and my thoughts were just to bear and grin it. I found these. A bit pricey but what the hell. Anything to improve seat and ride support and comfort was definitly needed. Installed them..easy! Ride and comfort is way better on lower back and legs. No more "left leg syndrome"( trying to find the comfort spot) while driving. I bought another pair for passenger side. I am 6'-2" and these did me a huge favor. If you have taken the time to read this post..buy them. Your in the same position I was (my seat sucks). Definitely a investment in your Tacoma! You won't be disappointed. ... show more

  • It helps with my knee pain
UPDATE.. ( I have had these installed for almost 9 months now. I am still very impressed with them. They have greatly improved the ride quality of long distance driving and short trips across town as well as off roading. Aside from quality shocks, this is the best upgrade for a more comfortable ride. And I have not had any knee pain while driving since installing) I have only had this installed for a day but I can tell it supports my leg in a better position to relieve the pain in my right knee. Having an old knee injury really sucks when going from break to gas pedal driving on curvy country roads. So far I can tell these blocks have helped. Plus the seat in my taco feels more comfortable all the way around being slightly reclined. The price is fair considering these blocks lined right up to the factory mounting position (and seat brackets to blocks) without any issues. Quality material and precise machining gave this a 5 star rating from me. Also I appreciated the official German torque specs "joke" in the instructions lol. Seems like a cool company. I'm buying another set after my lady sat in the driver seat and said she wants that on her side too. ... show more

  • This product has good and bad.
2109 Tacoma TRD OR - These are very well made and pretty simple to install, taking about 15 minutes to install. The pro's are as others have claimed: Easy to install and improved comfort. The con is that the overall height makes entering and exiting the vehicle uncomfortable, and I've already noticed wear on the bottom of my steering wheel as a result of having to squeeze in and out. Unfortunately the Tacoma's steering column adjustments are limited and I have mine set at it's highest point, which is disappointing because these really made a difference in comfort. I tried moving the seat forward and backwards, but had mostly the same results and find the con's are outweighing the pro's in my case. Just my 2 cents... ... show more

  • Helped me!!
Had them on for a week and maybe 75 miles. So far the shooting pain down the leg, knee pain, and occasional ankle pain; together or separately, have not returned. I’m 6’ and the Japanese seem to make their seats for 5’5 individuals with no support. It was the same on my Honda’s over the last 30 years, however, those all had power seats which meant I could adjust them into a similar position as what these seat jackets do on the Tacoma. You could say they are a bit pricey for what they are, however, much as I love the Taco, I was getting close to trading the truck due to the pain. So I guess the $110 was well worth it. ... show more

  • Does NOT increase rear seat height.
2016 Tacoma. For over $100 it should be a 1.25" lift for the whole seat! This is just a front lift and after installing I felt like I was in a rocket ship (pointed straight up in the air!!) I brought the bolts with me to my hardware store, matched them up and got enough washers to lift the back up 1.25". Now the seat is PERFECT! I finally feel like I'm in a truck and not a car, and I can see my entire hood. For $100 it should have came with 2 sets for front and back. I would have sent them back but they are a very good securement, and I'd rather trust the washers in the back and have something solid metal holding my seat. Otherwise if you are comfortable with washers $20 at the hardware store will do the same thing. I recommend buying this as I think it's definitely done safer, but I wish there was a whole seat lift that was reasonablly priced. First photo is my rig, then the cover that still fit over the back, and then the (overpriced) device I purchased. ... show more

  • Great product for better comfort
These were so easy to install. They add a lot of comfort for long and short periods of driving. Remove seat front bolts, loosen rear seat bolts, raise seat front, install seat jackers, reuse stock bolts to secure jackers to floor, use provided bolts to secure seat to the jackers, re-tighten all bolts and torque to 27 Ft lbs. If your hesitant to get these, don’t be…you will notice a difference right away on the comfort of the seat. I will be ordering another set for the passengers side soon. The only con I would say is that these are a little overpriced. $60 would be a fair price for a set of these. Or maybe they could offer a double pack for a discounted price…just my opinion. ... show more

  • Significantly improved seat comfort!
THESE SPACERS LIFT ONLY THE FRONT TWO SEAT HINGES! I could not for the life of me understand why Toyota designed the seat bottoms to be so FLAT! I regularly drive my Tacoma between LA and Fresno and would have to constantly adjust my position in the chair to get comfortable. I am used to car seat bottoms being slightly angled upwards so that my thighs and knees would have support and in the Tacoma my right leg especially would suffer as there was no support for my knee and thigh. Installing these was a GAME CHANGER, immediately noticed improved support and a more snuggled position in the seat. I highly recommend these to anyone who is struggling with seat comfort in their Toyota Tacoma. FYI I'm 5'7" and these were a significant upgrade for me and drastically improved seat comfort. ... show more
